    2010 Tundra reg cab 2wd 4.6 l
    owned since 2020
    156,000 miles.
Put a Kenwood DNX 6972 HU in as soon as I bought it.
    No problems at all
This past Sunday put in a subwoofer to fill out the bass.
ran 1/0 copper wire from battery +, 16 ft run, could make shorter but waiting to see where exactly I want all this to reside.
cleaned up both battery terminals with cleaner and coated with terminal protectant
1/0 ground to the chassis right by the driver seat in the door chase.
that bracket down to bare paint, the ground cable is 18 inches long
all connections through distribution blocks bought on Crutchfield
8 gauge to an Alpine Vpower mono 250w amp
    JL 4 ohm enclosed sub
    fuse blocks where needed

    sounds awesome,
Drove 1 and 1/2 hours to work and almost all the way back at night , no problems

few miles from home, check engine light comes on. Truck running fine.
    check codes p2714 and P2445
tried to erase codes but cant both labeled permanent.

    question:
-coincidence and I really those 2 issues?
    or
    -so sort of interference ?

THanks, yes I am a lurker. I mostly find the answers I am looking by reading previous threads.
I havent found this one so I thought I would give posting a try.
Im no mechanic either but do dabble with the audio in my vehicles.
I did ride all the way home with it pretty close to be maxed out and it did sound awesome. SO clean.
At first I was thinking a voltage drop because maybe my alternator cant handle it. But I got a second hand answer from the husband of a friend who thought my 150 amp alternator should be just fine.
I got those same descriptions and when you dive deep into causes it says that the return aberant voltage triggers the code.
Truck runs perfect, no shifting troubles.
If either of those is dying , I definitely want to fix it before I take off on a long trip
    thanks for your input.

yes bypasses the saip system if it doesn't operate it can't fail
If one of the ai valves gets stuck open the truck will go into limp mode

    @Leo's first We appreciate recommendation of the SAIS Bypass Kit! @dbogacz If you had any additional question please do not hesitate to contact us. Below I have included a few recent post about this prevalent issue;

    Lastly @hagrid is 100% correct,
It is illegal to remove, dismantle, or otherwise cause to be inoperative any pollution control device required by federal, state, or local emissions law.

What'd you end up doing for the P2714 code?
