New fridge actually showed up when they said it would. Only a 2 week wait, not bad nowadays. Now, if the body shop would finally finish my truck, all would be good. Getting really fucking tired of having to share a car with my wife.

This is the food fridge, beer fridge lives in the garage where all proper men keep their beer fridge.

Without getting into much detail, some little punk ass..., fine young 17 year old gentleman on a bicycle ran a stop sign at full speed and ran into the front fender.

Yeah, that's a disadvantage of the set up of our kitchen. We had a side by side fridge before and you couldn't really open the freezer side, had to pull the fridge out from the wall if you wanted to take the ice bin out. We decided a french door set-up would be better this time. Actually, it opens almost completely, just the bottom pull out drawer at the bottom of the fridge only opens about 75%. Best thing is that we can now fully open the freezer cause it just pulls out. Much better than before.

 

Yeah we have the same design style in this house, and our fridge sits exactly in the same position as yours. The previous owners left the fridge because they said it was nearly impossible to find one that fit the opening and functioned properly (w/the door swing). I'm not a big fan of the pull out freezer on the bottom; it always seems like the one thing you want is buried at the bottom, but the wife likes it so who am I to complain???

 

The artwork is fine, it’s the cabinets making me twitch.

 

Its nice to have a place for your food to last a few days longer.
The cold beer was always the winner in all this.
