OnStar! Back when my dad had a Silverado (yuck), OnStar saved him twice after he locked his keys in the truck. I understand the subscription services for SOME things....but heated seats? What a joke.

our ops mgr recently had his Denali pickup stolen from Home Depot.

onstar did nothing. they would not stop the car. they would not track the car. without police report.

the GM app was telling him that the car was getting torn apart. in real time. as he waited for cop.

    awesome app.

He kind of already is. Isn't the "premium connectivity" (internet access, certain media, etc.) $100 a year? I wont be paying for it after my free year because I never use any of the stuff anyway.

Not 100% sure to be honest. That would be absolutely brutal if you had to pay the subscription for maps/navigation.

Edit: See picture. I will miss the live camera view on sentry mode. That's the only feature on the list that I actually use.

Yeah, the thought of paying the absurd EV price, crazy registration based on the MSRP, the EV annual penalty fee, and then having to rent the features that are the reason for buying it in the first place.... so appealing.

Just not feasible financially yet. EVs are just expensive enough that the savings from maintenance and fuel aren't enough to justify it... yet. When they start putting out a 350 mile range car for sub $40K, then it'll be worth looking into.

Yeah, it only pencils out for us because we are in the market for a new vehicle anyway. Plus we don't have the msrp registration or penalty fee (yet).
358mi. range, cheap power.. this is the time for us to jump into it. :goingcrazy:

Saw one of these driving through the neighborhood the other day, seems very low to the ground but definitely has understated elegance.

    Agreed

    a good looking large sedan.

We saw one in downtown Houston.

at first we thought is was a fancy Avalon (I say that respectfully).

Pricey , but given the performance, it's a deal.

I can't help but think that the people who will buy this will demand that the car has an external speaker to reproduce the hellcat engine sound
