We've been around 100 degrees locally for the past week. Supposed to be getting a slight break....

What a place! If the heat doesn't kill you the flash flood or lightning will. How are you even still there?

It’s engrained in my blood. As a desert rat, you gotta know the local swamps to invade and cool off

Well, my gizmo tells me it's 80* inside and out but it feels lots more comfortable than that.
Here at the beach we pay extra for our property taxes but we get our A/C for free.

    Redding is no joke.

It’s usually high 90’s low 100’s here in Auburn. This summer has been incredibly dry but also incredibly mild as well. Unusual to say the least. Not complaining though. PG&E becomes my second mortgage in the summer.

It's 10pm in SC and the heat index is currently 86.
Nothing like you heavy hitters but it felt a dang sight warmer this afternoon when I was sweating my short and curlies off changing out my front shocks. I don't mind the heat but the humidity is a stinker, I'll take a 100+ low humidity any day of the week against 80+ with a high humidity level that stifles your lungs and gives you an insta-sweat drenched shirt as soon as you go out into it.
