I rented a Tundra Platinum 4x4 non-hybrid about a month ago. I put 430 miles on it across three days. About 90% was highway driving at 70-72mph.

Overall was 21.4mpg calculated using the pump's gallons and the truck's odometer.

Hybrid looks very promising. Especially with city mpg.

Happy meal for you I guess, that result is well out of the reported norm.

Almost all of my mileage is highway driving at around 70-75 MPH, and 16 MPG is about all mine does with several thousand feet of elevation change over a 48 mile round trip to and from where I work. This is 148,000 miles of observation.

Mine came home with me yesterday. Pulled in garage shut it off, 20.8 mpg over course of 25 miles. Ten miles of it was red lights.

Just returned from Pocono Mountains - 130 miles each way. My 2018 got 16.8 to (which is a lot of inclines) and 18.2 from (more downhill). This was averaging 75 to 80 mph.

How have the MPGs held up for city driving? I'm struggling to find reports of MPGs on non-TRD Pro stock hybrid trucks.

Getting 13-16 city with 3in lift and 35’s- my old tundras got 8-12 driving the same. I am mostly short trips with lots of stop signs and stop lights. Longer trips outside of the downtown area I can hit the 20’s
