    I disagree.
    They can do whatever they want, it has no ill effect on me.

    When my cats got stolen I told a coworker that always parked close to me.
    He has a 6 or so-year-old supercharged Ford truck.
    He told me, 'thanks for letting me know, but I don't have any cats'...
    He has his Ford tuned to where it passes inspection.

    Whatever works for y'all is cool with me.
    But I want my Tundra with stock cats and inspection passing.
    I don't like surprises..

    Yes, I'll wait until I get my truck back before selling the extra cats.
    I'd want a potential buyer to know they aren't stolen.

    When I took the truck in on November 16th, they said 6 to 8 weeks.

    I have one side.
    The side the stupid thieves left hanging because the alarm was going off..
    The dealer has had the replacement of the side I have since December.
    Waiting on the other side to come in.

    My insurance has already paid for all new parts and that is what I want.
    Toyota is paying for my rental Tacoma and I get better gas mileage with it than my Tundra.
    I miss my Tundra, but it's not like I don't have something to drive..

    Wow, very disconcerting to hear how long they’re taking. I think I’m at least at 3 months, if not 4, since I got on the dealer’s waiting list. OEM is definitely the way to go, though. My Magnaflow aftermarket cats are throwing the P0430 efficiency code all the time now.

    O2 Sensor Eliminator MAGNUM EZ CEL FIX Oxygen Sensor Simulator

    By the way they also work on sterndrive boat motors. Yea the ones where the manifolds are $3K vs $600 (non cat) and the catalyst elements are $4K and the O2 sensors are $100 each. The reason you see more and more boats with nothing but outboards is the emission requirement which added $8K to the price of an inboard and went from 3 alarms to 42. Once they fuck over the outboards there will be no where to hide.

    And with sims, you have to cut the o2 sensor wires (not the heater wires) and then find a 12 volt source nearby that switches on and off with the ignition. It’s not all that difficult, but it’s just that the spacers are much more simple imho.
