TRD Front Sway Bar Part# PTR62-0C180 - Sold

Like new in as received condition. Had it installed on my 2016 for a few thousand miles to check it out. Removed when vehicle was sold. Much beefier than the stock bar. Firms up the front end.

Description from Sparks: "This is the Red TRD Front sway bar that comes standard on the 2018 Tundra TRD Sport. This product comes to us without a box from Toyota. As such, it will have minor damage to the paint work. This damage will be on the bars before they come to us from Toyota. It will not come with any bushings or brackets. It is designed to replace your OE front sway bar. You reuse your stock bushings and mounting hardware.
This bar is the same diameter as your stock bar, but is is about double the weight. The stock bar is approximately 17lbs with the end links and this new bar is 29lbs without the end links on it. This will allow for better handling and a stiffer." Price on Sparks is $186. plus shipping.

So I’m curious. Will this make a noticeable difference in removing sway? I have the rear sway bar but I’m still getting more body roll than I like. I’m wondering if this will fix the problem.

 

Pretty far! 83 miles / 1.5 hrs.

 

The rear bar provides a more significant difference and the front firms things up with some improvement in anti-sway. RAS also helps the rear significantly with reducing sway.

 

How close to Pittsburgh? My son goes to Pitt and is in an apartment over the summer. Depending on distance, if we work something out, you guys can get together to make the sale. I assume it is still available?
