Nice. It seems as if yours moved through the process very smoothly. I ordered mine in the beginning of may and seems to get delayed at every step. I’m in Massachusetts. I’m hoping they put it on a truck today. I’m waiting patiently for that call. I’ve got a trip coming up where I need the truck and don’t want to put a miles on the old one.

@Bobby Z do you know if dates will update when rail car arrives? My sales guy said everything is on track and the truck should arrive at dealer in a day or two when obviously not. Was about to take an offer on my current ride but not until I get more confirmation after this update..

 

@Bobby Z do you know the significance of the changes in dates on window stickers? For instance mine originally showed the build date of 05/18/22, then updated to 05/24/22 and just recently updated to 07/01/22. Does this tell anything?

 

Argh!! I knew this would happen. Just got the call that my Truck is arriving at dealer today. I'm on vacation for 2 more days then go back and work on Friday. My mom, who is co-signing for financing just left on vacation for a week about an hour ago. I was joking that they were going to call right after she left. Sure enough got the call 20 minutes after she left. Hopefully I can get into dealer Tuesday afternoon to finalize paperwork and bring home new Tundra. My wait is almost up. My accessories, drop steps, tonneau cover, etc started arriving yesterday. So close!!

 

Go figure ha! Close though. Wonder if mine is on the same truck headed over to Tri Cities? Not sure if one truck drops at multiple dealers in the same general area.

 

I was thinking about this as well. The Dalles is truly in the middle of nowhere when it comes to things like big box stores and dealerships. We are just about 80-100 miles in any direction of larger cities. I was thinking that one of the delays in my truck getting here is that they wait until they have a truckload to send to one dealer or if they load a few cars for each dealer as you head east. Heading east I think the next dealerships are in tri-cities and Pendleton/Hermiston. Who knows, I have noticed that there really is no rhyme or reason in how and when these trucks show up.

 

Yeah, I’m not sure either. You would think for the smaller dealers they would pool a handful of vehicles together and deliver to an area, but like you said hard to find a rhyme or reason these days.

 

Gotcha, figured as much. Just found it interesting that the date changed a few times.

 

Gosh thanks alot for the explanation. I didn't realize PROCESSING happened at the factory. The print out said processing was completed on 6/21/2022. Sure seems like it takes a long time to catch a train if actual departure isn't showing up on 7/6/2022! Thanks again.
