Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

Tracking just gave an ETA over the phone. Rail departed Texas June 14th, and just departed Indiana this morning due to arrive in upstate NY port on the 9th. I'd just call it a month on rail to New England plus two weeks to unload and get to the dealer...for what its worth.

Just a little update for everyone on shipping..it's only getting worse. Toyota is having a extremely difficult time acquiring truck drivers. As of last month, they were down 35% of the number of truckers they would like to have. This is why you are seeing the delays from train to dealer. It sucks but it's just another shortage we have to deal with.

 

Curious if you know what “Tendered to Carrier” means exactly? Is that saying it’s been transferred to a trucking company and is about to depart? Or that a trucking company has been assigned, but it’s still sitting at port? Any ideas?

 

Yes, a trucking company has been assigned to pickup your truck and it's waiting to be grabbed. If you read the post i just wrote, I just spoke a little about the shortages on trucks.

FINALLYYYY 7 months after putting in a deposit! @cdq85 thanks for keeping me sane the past month or two!

 

I get the trucking shortage, But I’m wondering why mine has not updated since leaving the factory nearly a month ago. It missed it’s rail arrival date by almost 2 weeks and when I try and track the rail car, it says no data available.

 

The rail car tracking works well - make sure you get the letters correct. The automated system has trouble with "TEE", "EEE", "GEE" etc.

Once @cdq85 gives you an update with the rail information showing its departed we shouldn't need to bother him anymore.

Mine left Texas on June 14th, arrived in KC on the 24th, and just left Indiana today and it even gave me an ETA of 7/9 at the port in upstate NY. (I'm going to just assume it will be slower and expect a 7/14 arrival).

From there I'd assume 2 weeks to get off the train, sorted, and trucked to the dealership.

The rail car info has been correct when it has been repeated back to me. But literally, there has been no change on the dealer daily for nearly a month. My snapshot has no ETA past the rail arrival, and has no hold placed on it.

I can’t look into it like the hero’s on here but I can tell you that’s not a temporary vin. Your truck is built most likely.
