So that is pretty bad ass Jim. How has it held up under the truck?

I just put mine on a couple of weekends ago. I'm not sure of RCI said anything but I'd take off the transmission skid (if you have it) and align the Cat guards to drill the holes. One thing I had to go back and fix was the front of the cat guards were rubbing against the bolt for alignment. There's probably about 1 to 2mm of space. Was able to push it back a little. I like it so far though

Tundra was a tool all weekend. Started off with two runs to the dump, one full bed and trailer, next full trailer. Next day we loaded up two kayaks in the bed, fishing stuff and gear in the cab for a little fishing. 1.5 hours drive each way, some highway, some rural low speed towns and 45/55 mph roads = 17MPG. Not bad at all considering the load and that the truck is lifted on 33.4 tires.

I drove my buddy's 3rd gen 4runner from Oakland to Vegas and it was so comfy. I asked what was up. He said Seat Jackers. I ordered a set at the next gas station stop. Installed them on the Tundra and took a 1500 mile road trip. So much more comfortable. I'm 6ft tall and feel like my legs finally have support underneath them now.

drove it to the coworking space today. that counts for something.

Installed pioneer dmh-wt8600nex on Sunday. Just trying to get some of the gauge PIDs to work w/ the maestro (some, not all avail)
Installed afe super stock intake on Monday. Looks like it's working and breathing better, seeing MPG jump significantly.

    Thanks...that helps.

I did the inner and outer door skins on my wife's Outback with Second Skin Damplifier Pro, and it took about 40sqft to do all 4 doors. It was a huge improvement, and is on my shortlist for the Tundra. I dunno if I am pulling seats and carpet though...

Damplifier Pro is on Amazon. It's $215 for 30sqft (12"×20" sheets). Not as cost effective as some of the other options, but it was highly recommended, so it's what I went with.

Get lots of replacement blades for your cutter...you're gonna need em.

Never had one but I have heard insufficient water intake is the leading cause. I hate drinking plain water but love drinking tea and drink lots of it (and coffee). It used to be that passive water consumption wasn't considered good enough but "updated" research has altered that assessment. I can only hope :goingcrazy:

I'm not too far aways from ya. I've never installed one of these before but I don't mind helping. I'm no stranger to cutting into these trucks (cab light installs on 3 of them). Holler if you're down.

Well, my Mom used to drink nothing but water and coffee, and she got kidney stones. They didn't quit until she dropped coffee. This is not to say that you can't have coffee, but rather that health is an individual thing and what works for one may not work for the rest.

I was told by my urologist to not just drink lots of water but to put some lemon juice in it. I have been doing that now for years and no more stones. It also gives it some taste over just plain water. We also got a Reverse Osmosis filter for our well water.
Good luck on finding what works for you.

Doctor's can't agree I guess. Mine said nothing will work better than regular water, and not to excess, but that should be the primary. He also said the whole vinegar or cranberry juice bit about dissolving or breaking them up was an old wives' tale. Especially the cranberry juice one, it's terrible because of all the sugar in it. Causes additional problems and doesn't help with the stones at all.
