Overlord is a bit of a stretch, but I will accept Grand Poobah on occasion.

Unfortunately I don’t venture down towards houston much at all, so I don’t have a network round those parts.

Nice! So how is this one able to go full length but the plastic one isn’t? Seems like a plastic full length model would be the best of both worlds.

Also, have you noticed any annoying rattles? We used to have metal rifle boxes in our work Tahoes and they rattled like no other.

This one has rails you install to replace the factory ones. Opens up the space for a full box.
Only time I notice a rattle is when I forget to lock it back.

Good to know. I probably would not use the lock so I guess the metal one is out.

Here's another option that I did. Recessed two hotel pans and a Harbor Freight tool kit. Maybe 50-60 bucks total.

On a side note: I wish they offered a full length plastic one like the metal one.

Thank you so much. Also I love the lighting you did with the box. Where can I buy the lighting kit like that and how hard is it to install the lighting?

These are suppose to arrive Tues-Wed. Looking forward to it. One disappointment already tho- ESP’s site says they ship USPS, while they actually shipped UPS. UPS are borderline crooks up here in Canada, charging absolutely ridiculous import/export clearance fees on items that they shouldn’t. They’re so bad I’d sworn off ordering anything that ships UPS.

@havasubud, it’d be great if you could update your site to show who you actually ship international with. A $80-100 ‘fee’ from your shipper at delivery can quickly change how a customer feels about the cost/value of a given product.

Did you heat the knife before cutting the weathertech mats or how did you go about it? I’ve been letting mine lay on top but will now be doing this, your set up looks sweet!

Thanks! heated knife not needed. I cut out the holes in the truck, laid the weathertechs in then started the knife in the middle of the hole and worked outwards until I hit the side then cut around the perimeter.

Not that hard to do. Had to pull mine back out a few weeks ago to replace a broken seat belt latch. If you are bored this weekend head north and we can knock it out. I'm about 4 hours from you. Less if you drive fast.

I'm glad you're saying its not hard and your trust in my ability sight unseen. I will take a look at trying it maybe this weekend if I'm not on call, and if I'm on call I will try next weekend.
