I will move outside if weather permits like no rain or strong wind blowing dust on it (I live out in the country surrounded by farm land). But like @ToyoMafia mentioned before, moving out in the sun to bake for an hour or so is nice

I left it out for 30 mins while I looked for some touch up spots to hit (flashes?) and hit a few I missed.
Shes finally all done and I still have about 1/2 bottle left of Undrdog. Clearly, I learned my lesson lol

So now that it’s all done, I should let it sit until Monday to be safe, in the garage?

I think 24hrs should suffice, but I've never used undrdog, so I'd wait for guidance from @Ckatz53 and @ToyoMafia since they're more familiar with their cure times. I'd say keep garaged until at least Sunday afternoon/evening

It’s got PPF coming on the 9th. I’ve been trying to avoid highways until I did ceramic and PPF lol
    She’s super sexy!
Don’t worry, the wheels and tires are going to be gone eventually

I meant where abouts on the car? I hate to be bad news but I'm not sure that ppf will adhere to ceramic very well. I could be wrong but might want to check with whoever's applying it.

Ugh. So you’re supposed to get PPF before ceramic? My appt is the 9th. I was planning on having the fenders, rockers, bumper, top of hood done. Will they need to polish down and then apply the ceramic?

Personally, I hate PPF. No matter what, you can always see the lines and, at least here, it degrades at a different level than the paint (even with care), so in a few years it really looks bad.

Nothing really, but to me a little chip or 2 is better than a large, very noticeable line and difference of color/texture.

Ask them about the coating. If anything you have a half bottle left to redo it.

I’m not about to redo it again lol. I texted him a link to Undrdog. If he wants to polish it then I can prob just reapply right over the PPF? I don’t want to have to wash, clay, and polish all over again. Make him do it lol

But redo all the areas they would PPF, no?
No idea. I haven’t asked. His employer does this (and tint) for many of the Stevinson dealerships so he does this on the side.

I had ppf applied on my 2010 white camry 10 yrs ago or more and it still looks good and white is probably the worst for noticing color differences. The stuff they use now is way better and much of it has healing properties if it gets swirls or what not. You will notice a line on your doors however if you only go part way up.

24 hours indoors is good. An hour in the sun will accelerate curing just make sure it stays clean of bird shit/water. If something poops on it, shoot the bird first then wipe off with a damp microfiber.

Polished it off then coating is best. Will have adherence issues applying ppf over the coating. Ppf > coating so you want the best protection on first. The coating will assist resisting premature degradation of the PPF as they're more susceptible to water spotting, etching, and fading if it's not a high end PPF (you see factory ppf yellowing all the time as the sun beats the hell out of it with UV).

Yup. Or you can polish to reduce his costs as he will likely charge more for having to remove...unless that's already baked into his application process/cost.

I used the Rag Company Liquid8tor and Griots edge less PFM detailing rags for the first time this evening. I’m blown away especially at the Rag Company

Everything I've gotten and used through them has been satisfactory. I always suggest them to people getting more serious about detailing. Pay a lil more, but great products. Catching their sales makes it even better

It’s definitely worth the $20. I already have an additional Liquid8tor and the Griots detailing rags in my Amazon cart. One thing I’m curious about though is the Chemical Guys Honeydew. It makes bubbles in the bucket, but while washing its like it’s not even there. Very little suds compared to the maguirs I previously used

I haven't had experience with CG soap. I've heard that one is decent, but only what others say. I've used meguiars before and it did well. I've switched to CarPro Reset and love it.
