I see a lot of threads where people modify their trucks and they are pretty excited about what they did and want to show everyone.

Someone always chimes in and says "well, it could be better" or "why didn't you paint it pink?" or "it could use more rainbow glitter" etc...

I mean if it bugs you that much, just go to another thread. People who do this at work bug the hell out of me too.

Having to watch Ozark with the lights off because the producers want to be so mood setting or whatever. I get the dark premise ok, but it's like the original Batman with the camera tilted crooked when the villains were on the screen.

The fact that this is apparently what 4 pounds of strawberries looks like, after you throw out the moldy ones, of course. I swear we used to be able to get decent fruit here.

Everyone lies. Everyone. It's terrible. You have to read people. What to do is, observe children, they are the ultimate manipulators, then realize adults do exactly the same nonsense on a more intellectual level (sometimes).

Hey, man. That's some extra tread life for that patch. They're doing you a favor when they leave them on! :poking:

Problem is you drive home from the tire shop and all but about 2" of the stupid sticker is gone and no matter what you do, the rest of it is now stuck on the freakin tires for the next several hundred miles. You pay $1500 for tires; $2500 for wheels; $1200 for paint protection; $700 for ceramic tint; $1500 for a lift; etc... and all you can see is the freakin tiny piece of sticker stuck to the tread!!!!!!!

I worked in a tire shop for about 5 months as a working assistant manager. Most of the workers are lazy hacks, it’s like babysitting grown men. The stickers should be pulled off prior to balancing because it may throw off the balance.

Autotraders useless filters. You don't want vehicles that have been in an accident? How about looking at all these ones with branded titles. Oh, you only want V8s? Well what about all these v6s? Looking at a Tesla and you only want 250+ mile range? Take a look at these models that have 205 miles of range.

Don't put in a filter if you can't make the motherf****ing thing work! :censored::censored::censored::mad::mad::mad::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::frusty::frusty::frusty:

I wanted to see what the used market was, but if I can't filter it by my minimum requirements WTF good does it do?

So I saw, and anything with 300+ miles of range (absolute bare minimum for me) is stupid expensive. I can get a nice little A Frame house/cabin for what one costs.

When I go visit people I am putting down lots of miles. Charging at home and such is never an issue for EVs. A buddy I regularly visit is 300 miles away one way. Plus any running around town, site seeing, etc.

Tesla has their own SC network- they’re everywhere. Other options are A Better Route Planner and Plug Share (what non teslas use- u can get an adapter)

As long as we're mad can this thread also be used for marraige counseling?

My wife refuses to use the climate control feature in our cars. She insists on turning down the AC to low then constantly jacking with the fan and temp setting. I keep telling her they have thermostats that work just like the house but she can't get it. Agggggghhhh!

My wife and daughter are the same way. My wife has auto climate control on her Highlander and she refuses to use it. They are not allowed to touch the A/C controls in my Tundra!

It's better for fuel economy if you turn the temperature all the way down then just turn the AC off once you get too cold.

I hate auto climate control. Every time I accidentally hit the button in my car, it switches to the floor vents. If I wanted cold air on my feet, I wouldn't have it set to the upper vents! :annoyed:
