Was watching some videos and noticed HH has new obstacles to play on :woot:
I know it's like herding cats to get y'all to coordinate and come out so I'm just gonna put it out there.

Saturday August 27th Hollister Hills 9AM

I'll setup a canopy early in the morning at one of the tables near the 4x4 Obstacle Course.
Maybe do some grilling burgers/dogs, depending on how many RSVP.

Make sure to bring a handheld HAM/GMRS radio.
    upload_2022-6-30_16-47-8.jpg

How to get there. When you're there pay the $5 entrance fee.
    https://goo.gl/maps/DHF99tKSK7Q5AZA2A

After you pay the $5 entrance fee, make a U-turn and go here to the offroad entrance which is 1 mile further down the road:
    https://goo.gl/maps/KeiN6NKhbNZmCDbA7

TIP: Map out these trails on your GPS app like Gaia - it'll make it a lot easier to get around

lol, it's not like that. @Cruzer is one of my favorites on here. And I'm pretty sure he's locked front and rear, to say the least, lol. I'm just saying 2WD can do more than some realize.

Haha I added popcorn because I want to watch this thread. Im jealous I can’t make it. Hollister is a blast!

I’ve wheeled with Cruz, he’s a good dude!

Hollister was the first place I wheeled, and 2wd! Ran a 2wd truck for a little over 10 years. They can really go places! I was actually going to quote Savage to add a throw back pic of my 2wd at one of the view points at Hollister to encourage him to go, but couldn’t find the pic. Lol.

You can probably make it to the peak in 2wd. Maybe just 1 or 2 small tugs.

So good. I already looked up the date and the trip from my house. I can't commit because of schedule and it's a haul for a day trip - but, I'm still watching too, because I want to go.

hmmn, looks like 3 of us thinking this right now. 2 in SD… pick you up in LA…, “questioning” dude in Ventura commits… convoy by the time we roll in.

*sadly, I’m taking a new role at work and stuck local all summer, but I’m still working through scenarios….

I enjoy scenarios. I might even be able to make this without you as a spotter. It's really my unknown schedule holding me back - temporary but ongoing...but, If I go I'll be claiming it.

There’s a new guy on here with a ‘22. Lives in Livermore, started a “where have you offroaded today” thread, led a big group through Bodie recently, and I think he had a slide out kitchen in his bed? If anyone knows who I’m talking about, tag him. I want to see his truck. Lol

That trip I’m not sure if I had the Stauns yet or using a key o_O

When I got the truck it had a horribly installed billet grill, so I bought an OEM Limited grill that doesn’t have the chrome. I need to get a Limited lower bumper cause if I pull the chrome strip it will leave giant rectangle holes.
