So many years ago, IIRC 1987, I bought a 4x4 with the 22RE, manual locking hubs and rubber floors. Perfect truck for NY winters, when I was stationed there. Then orders took me to GA and with no A/C I traded it for of all things an MR2.

So jump forward to 2022 I was looking for a truck smaller then my 8ft box 2500HD. Still have that until we sell the 5th wheel. So I go over to an old freinds used lot and end up buying a Chevy Colorado, fully loaded. Stay with me.

Have it for 3 days and the transmisison starts making noise on first acceleration of the day. Since they guaranteed it for 3 months, I took it back. Sells manager confirms the noise. After two weeks it's still in the shop and no end in sight. So he offers for me to swap out for something different.

Went over Saturday and drove two Tacomas and the Tundra. Tundra was an easy choice.
Came home with a 2016 Crew Max. White with gray/black interior and the gulf coast apperance pacakge. truck is ridiculously clean underneath.

    Upcoming Mods:
    Hard Toneau cover
Pioneer DMH-2600 NEX head unit (the factory Nav is awful)
Swap out grille for Pro grille
    Auto up window control (maybe)

My Toneau got delayed because FedEx shipped it to Grand Bay instead of Millbrook.

If it made it to Grand Bay, you're lucky it made it out of there! They REALLY like their trucks and accessories over there!
