Ha! I put my plates on, love driving my truck again now that it's protected with Tyler's bad ass product, but my heart sank when I realized I have an oil change coming up in 1K miles. Just watched a TRD Pro oil change video and there is zero need to take the plates off! Hell yes! Sorry if I'm being a giant newbie here, but man that stressed me out.

 

Yep! Doesn’t affect engine oil changes at all.

They were supposed to be here Saturday, now today, but they aren’t out for delivery yet…

 

I apologize if this was already answered but I did not see it in this thread as it got fairly big. DO you need to buy both front and rear or is just the front sufficient?

Where I live, we're not in immediate danger of this sort of thing, but its starting to be more apparent. A couple of pieces in the paper. So I should probably get proactive.

I ordered a set Of a 1/4 inch aluminum bare for my 21 TRD pro two days ago. I work at a dealership in in the area and thefts seem to be on the rise. Dirtbags hit our wholesale lot couple weeks back and was chatting with the police. These guys are making their way around dealerships, commuter lots even hitting cars at the mall. . My dealership has had several stolen off the lot.
One of our members had them stolen at DFW airport.
Mine were stolen in my employer's parking lot while I was at work.

It's no fun getting them stolen, I'm on day 224 of my Tundra being at the dealership waiting for cat parts..

 

Three days to late….. received my plates Saturday and the wife wanted yard work done and I put off the install. Well, three days later (today at 2:30) Cats are GONE!!!!

Get them installed ASAP. Don’t let the wife say she wants you to do yard work.

Sounds awesome when you start it up. Sounds like a 70s muscle car, but…… once you start driving….. the sound is defining.

Of course I ran around the parking lot and looked under the two other Tundras and……. Theirs where still there. Happy for them, sad for me.

At least now once I have them replaced, I have the plates to protect them.

 

#4 did not arrive today. It is almost funny to track FedEx. All 4 left Texas together got to Cali and decided to "go their own way way"

Wondering if nut plate is in the box with one of the 2. I've seen posts about people's being sent separate, but it didn't show it in shipping info.

 

Tyler sent me my front plate first, on my request.
All the hardware, including the nut plate and rear plate bolts, was in a box taped up inside the front plate box.

He sent the rear plate when it was available.
The rear plate is flat, the front plate not so much...

 

It is in the package with the front cat plate sir. I haven’t shipped many sequoia bolts, but I like the way your vehicle sounded with the order. PRO sequoia, I have a special place in my heart for off-road sequoia’s

 

as of now, it shows 2 separate pieces shipped and arrived at our local hub about 15 mins ago. so it looks like i'll get both at once. which i'll prob try to put both on tomorrow evening after work.

i'll be sure to update once i'm done on install and give feedback. but i'm sure it'll be like almost everyone else here and install will go fine. thanks bud!

 

Sounds like mine are about to ship. Woohoo! I caught the police using my truck for bait last week and I left the building in time to see them take off chasing after some dudes who had no business being there. I'll definitely sleep better once they're on the truck
