    Try this……Tidal Hi/fi sound quality.

    Night & day difference…..you’re welcome.

Previously i would blast music at full volume (63) & it still wasn’t enough, with windows down? forget about it.

With tidal hi/fi (55) is the max i’ll turn it up cause it’s deafening with windows down!

The root cause of the problem is the source of poor sound quality from pandora etc, even with their (premium) audio.

Music test choice: AC/DC Hells bells & Thunderstruck Lol

2020 System Non JBL with Entune 3.0 and apple carplay for reference.

    Lipstick on a pig...
    The Entune system sucks..
A phone app isn't going to provide the satisfaction of a good HU, amp, speakers, and subwoofer.

    But whatever works for ya..

There’s nothing to click, sharing my experience like everyone else does on this forum. If you don't like it move along and don’t come back

SO this app makes it louder and that satisfies your needs?
    That's awesome Bro..
Don't be mad if someone posts opposing views of your suggestion, it's a forum for God's sake.

    This just in:
If you run Sirius/XM off the app instead of the satellite, it sounds better..
    I just saved y'all $3K..

Actually, I use none of those apps.
I run most of my music off my iPhone or USB drive with FLAC files.
And no, my HU doesn't have a CD player, or cassette, or 8-track, but back in the day I had all 3....

Although I'd bet my Siruis/XM iPhone app sounds better on my system than your Tidal Hi/fi app on your stock radio.

Again, whatever works for you is fuckin' A with me..
Some people like Kraco radios (you'd have to be over 50 to get that one)...

    Enjoy....:fistbump:

You notice huge difference in music quality from 128 to 320. You don’t think 1411 will blow you away? I thought the same and i’m telling you, the system came to life!

Yup but they have hi/fi and even master recordings for the songs

No need for masters audio unless you have processor that can decode that

Whatever works for you is just great.
But you'll never get me, or a ton of others on this forum, that an online app is going to make your Entune sound worth a shit..

    I don't have a stock audio system.
My 2014 audio hasn't been stock since 2014.

I'm glad the app works for you, but you are wasting your time trying to convince me, that it makes your stock Entune sound 'good'..

    Enjoy...:hattip:

Yeah I’m having a hard time believing that anything is gonna make this sound acceptable. I also have a ‘21 highlander and while I wouldn’t say it sounds amazing it’s night and day better than the tundra. Consensus I’ve gathered is that the tundra sound system just sucks.

The two sound systems in the Tundras 21 and before are plain crap!! No matter what you play!! If you like that,,, then replace your speakers add a couple amps with sound processor and two 12 inch woofers then play your music and let us know the difference then. :)

But if blaring that system with an app of some sort works for you then you are ahead of the stereo game!!!:)

On a side note I would see an ENT specialist and see if your hearing is impaired???:)

I’m totally with you, i was looking to upgrade entire system.

But i gotta be honest, not saying its PERFECT, but It sounds so much better, crisper, and louder that i have no desire to replace it now, it suits my needs and i think it might be enough for others.

Lol i know but keep in mind not everyone wants to have subs, amp, sound processors etc, bit extreme for some like me.

I bet it’ll make your system sound better? try it and let us know!

True, not everyone needs or appreciates higher quality things. I have a good friend who is one of those people. If wine/liquor/beer gets you drunk, it's doing its job. If a tv has a picture, it's doing its job. If a radio makes noise, it's doing its job. Good booze, Hi-def picture and Hi-Fi sound is a waste on him - he doesn't differentiate or appreciate the subtleties of higher quality things. And that's OK.

To that end, the OP's suggestion might help someone who isn't an audiophile (or perhaps someone who just doesn't have the cash right now) to make their system a little more acceptable.

I'm more in the group that would prefer a whole system build, but I haven't come to terms with the cost of doing so. Instead, I just roll with the system off because I can't stand it. I got used to doing that when I had Jeeps - road/wind noise + crappy radio = better to not even bother, so it's not that big of a loss to me. I get my music fix at home.

You do realize tidal & qobuz are for audiophiles? Lol

The hi/fi audio quality is legit, it’ll improve any sound system not just the tundra’s.

Very helpful, I will try this. Many saying to just BUY a system, we don't buy these trucks to go upgrading the sound system before other things. Wheels and tires and a gauntlet of other things come first for us. If my sounds system was my top priority I'd be driving a 4runner or BMW.

I do (however I haven't used them) and I'm sure it will help some, but to those who really value great audio it likely will not be enough. But also there are a lot of people who are like my friend, or somewhere between him and audiophiles, who may find benefit in what you suggest.

It is better yes but...not quite enough. It will keep me satisfied long enough to make a decision on a new head unit though. Thanks
