So I went to go have my 2020 CrewMax bed Sprayed with Line-X. They had to remove the tailgate to spray, unplugged the camera and used the dust caps to cap the connectors off. After getting the bed, tailgate sprayed and connecting the camera back, it now doesn’t work? Anybody have any ideas, I did a search but didn’t have much work. I don’t understand why it worked before and now it doesn’t. Please help, thanks guys!

I would try reconnecting it after eyeballing connectors to make sure you didn't bend or push a pin. Maybe a little contact cleaner.

So I unplugged the connectors and inspected the pins and everything looks good and not bent? I cleaned the connector with some CRC 2-26 Plastic Safe Multi Purpose Electrical Precision Lubricant. I used some canned air to blow out any debris and still no back up camera?

Did they remove the tailgate cover plate and screws to spray separately, you might look at internal connections inside tailgate.

Ended take off the access plate off the tailgate & what do I see, they didn’t plug the camera connector back in! After a couple of hours of scraping off the Line-X overspray and cleaning the male and female connector. Plugged it back in & now camera is working. Thanks!
