Catalytic converter shield/skid plate(s)

Hello all,

I am researching some shields / skid plates for my Cat Converters on a 2020 CM, SR5. I am asking who has them, and which manufacturer?

CatSecurity - I like them very much and so far, so good. Good fit and has the rear shield as well. I got the thicker main plate.

Millercat here and modified my RCI skid plates to fit over the Millercat

 

i am running the same as @YankeeRon.

ordered the cat security 3/16 main plate w/ 1/8 rear from cap city muffler and received within a week. VERY happy w/ my purchase, and most importantly, they delivered when they said they would, one week.

i see others post quite often of being quoted 3-4 weeks, when in reality, it's 10-12 weeks, or more. time was of the essence for me, and i have no patience for that type of foolishness.

do your research, inquire about lead times, and perform your due diligence to verify what your told is truth.

it was important to me to receive my cat shield when i was told, as i had already been hit once. cat security plates from cap city muffler did not disappoint.

 

Rci is staring to develop plate for tundra that will work with users with other rci skid plates

+1 for Cat Security. I went with front and rear covers. I ordered my plates and received them in 3 days.

 

Cat security here, ordered on a Wednesday, and were at my front door on Friday the same week!
Fit well, went with the black powder coated.

Did you guys end up drilling into the frame for the rivnuts or did you just use the two factory holes in the front and the two sides ones on the rear cross member?

I am in Sacramento. Id make the drive to socal for that but no can do with a bad back.

I drilled into the frame…..

 

drilled into frame. i believe the bolts that thread into the rivnuts were security torx while the longer "through cross member" bolts were allen. felt better knowing i had 4 bolts with one key and another 4 bolts with a different key.
