As the title States. Looking to purchase a USED custom subwoofer box for a Crewmax. 2019 non jbl to be specific. I do see that t***tunes has a full Plug and Play amplifier kit along with tech12volt which I'm somewhat interested in as well. But open to other options. I would like to purchase a single subwoofer in a stealth box for a crewmax. Preferably one subwoofer. And I would like an amplifier to power all four door speakers and the subwoofer. Contact me with what you have prefer used ti save some money. Local pickup would obviously be preferred to save on not having to pay for shipping. I'm located near Harrisburg Pennsylvania

********* sells cheap rebranded shit, I'd look elsewhere.
There is a reason you can't post the name on this forum.
Although they do offer a very nice speaker adapter/spacer...

I'd look to @james@tech12volts and see what he has to offer..
He has helped a lot of forum members..

    About – Taylors Audio

For all your car audio and video needs (tech12volts.com)

Or contact Crutchfield and see what they have to say..

Crutchfield: Car Stereo and Audio, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, TVs

A lot of this depends on if you have a JBL system, and being you have a 19 TRD Pro, you might.

There are a ton of existing threads you can read on this subject.
    Just search around...
You can replace the OEM passenger's side under seat amp with a decent 5 channel and get what you want.
With a decent set of 2 way components in the front doors, you can eliminate all 3 dash speakers..

I didn't even realize that it blocked it out. But that's perfectly fine, yes, tech12volts also sells sub boxes. I'm open open to other options. But looking to purchase

if you went through the shit show that others on here did with TT, you might think differently.

Just get ahold of james at Tech12volt and let him know what you are looking for. He has really good prices.

Yes, I have talked to him already before. But shipping a sub box is not cost effective.

I suppose shipping may have gone up considerably in the past 2 years since I got my stuff from James, but back in 2020 I had the sub box, 2 JL Audio 10" subs, 2 sets of JL Audio speakers, JL Audio 5 channel amp, the amp rack, a DSR, and all of the wiring shipped from his shop to New Mexico for $43. That was ultra-reasonable at the time...

When these certain companies rip off members consistently, we don’t support them. That’s why we don’t allow members to share these companies websites (written in the code when typed).
That’s why we don’t allow that weak ass shit. If you don’t like it, log out and go elsewhere. Thanks brah.

Same - he shipped all speakers, subs, HU and box for under $100 which considering your box alternatives isn’t a lot.

Hey Corey, If you have the JBL system in your Pro. Just spend the money and replace the whole system. I got my Arc Audio from tech12volts. It was a good price and my system is awesome. Shipping to Pa was not that bad. I have the dual 10 inch subs.

That's weird considering I paid $260 for a custom box, loaded w/10" sub, including shipping.... and that was in the beginning of May this year.

I understand your point about wanting to try and find something used and available for local pick up. I think we all get that. However, since you clearly haven't found anything used and local to grab, this is a very cost effective option.

I dealt w/James about 6-7 weeks ago and was very happy w/the entire transaction. I did shop around just a bit before purchasing, but in the end, the recommendations I received from this forum to use James was spot on.

Replacing any car audio is not going to be 'cheap'. But, when it comes to having something sent to you (that is already properly tuned and adjusted to your particular vehicle specs and personal needs); and supported by good customer service; and you are not being gouged for shipping costs... Well, in my opinion, it becomes the most cost effective approach to accomplishing your goal.

    Good luck!

That is cost-effective. But is this that little Rinky Dink sub that fits under the seat and can only take like 180 Watts?!

The picture below is not mine, but it was from another Tundras.com member who got his stuff from James and did a better job than I did of documenting what he got from a photo perspective. In any event, my system that I got shipped for $43 back in 2020 was essentially the same though. The sub box is full size and takes up almost the entire space behind the rear seat from side to side.

I have that same setup except I installed a Kenwood HU as well - love it as much today as the day I put it in. Can’t be beat for the $.

No, sir! I believe you are referring to the small, shallow, square box w/a single 8" sub. Mine is a 10" (shallow mount) Infinity set on 2-ohms in a ported box. My particular sub is 200w RMS/ 800w Peak.

I believe you said you have a non-JBL setup from the factory. Our JBL setups came w/a "sub" in a plastic "box" that was bolted in behind the driver's side rear seat. The box I purchased is designed to occupy this same space in the vehicle. Mine was a single sub and occupies about 60% (width of that back wall). However, I believe, I've also seen a similar set up that would would occupy space behind both seats w/a dual sub set up.

The last photo gives you an idea of the shape of the box style I used. This photo is depicting (2) 10" subs along the back wall; mine is a single 10" sub w/a box that occupies about 60% of that space. Hope this helps!

On a side note, his website can be a little 'clunky' to navigate. But, if you just reach out to him personally (email is usually the best) and explain your current setup, goals and budget, I'm sure James would be happy to line out some options for you.

Good luck, and I hope you find something that works for you!!!

I had taco tunes on my last 2 trucks. Absolutely amazing, along as you don't buy their speakers, just the harnesses, amps and enclosures.
