it's "The Gauntlet" from The Rag Company. I love it. It's big, but so it the sequoia and the wife's odyssey. A quick flood rinse and passing this over it, and it grabs it all and some. I like it slightly better than Griot's PFM towel, but only kinda marginally. I use The Gauntlet on my truck, and use the PFM on the wife's ride. Both work well though and wouldn't down play one to the other. The gauntlet is pretty big, and some people don't like that for their application. If i was doing a small car, I may prefer the PFM over the Gauntlet, just because of size sake. Absorption in both are really good

 

Gotcha! Probably about the same between the big 3 drying towels. I envy that sheeting in your TikTok. Planning on applying undrdog after truck gets back from paint in a week. I don't know if it's as good a cquartz but I've never applied a coating and I read that Undrdog is easy to apply.
Unfortunately I'll likely have to wait til September at this point to apply it to where new paint is.

 

i've applied cquartz 3.0 once (sequoia) and i've done armor shield IV twice (previous tundra and wife's van). both easy to apply and level. i like the beading/sheeting properties more on cquartz. if i coat again, i may try undrdog since good reviews from @Ckatz53 and @ToyoMafia . one of them i trust, the other not so much. i'll let them figure out which one is which

Another vote for PFM towels. As for leaf blowers, I personally can't stand the things, but if you have the honeycomb grill it will save you a lot of time and effort. That thing is the worst for holding/hiding water.

I've tried a bunch.....and this is where I ended up.....tough to beat the PFMs

 

Since you drive a Tesla...be better to it than using the Chemical Guys stuff you bought. Have tried Clean Slate.....did not work as advertised. CG does make some good soaps, however...but that one is not one of them. I think I see Butter Wet Wax lurking in the picture. It smells good, goes on easy, and lasts about as long as it takes to down a cold one after your effort. There are tons of better choices out there, as far as carnuba waxes go.

 

Bro put a coat of underdog on that beast. It will make all the efforts worth it

Don’t clay until ur ready to do a coating

 

Honestly bro if you plan on doing a coating then nah.

 

Can confirm UD Pro coating and their regular sealant products are stellar. Easy to use and amazing performance.

 

Wash clay ipa prep. Then apply with an autofiber saver applicator. Suggested wait time is 7 to 10 minutes. Rule of thumb is when you drag a MF towel across with 0 pressure and it doesn't smudge (you'll see trails where you applied as it flashes) and the product feels grabby, buff off. Use a second towel for final wipe. Inspect closely for high spots. Let it sit 24 hours then good to go.

Temp and humidity determine wipe off times. 70 degrees and sub 50% humidity I'm often at 12min buff off time. Longer it stays the better it bonds just be wary of high spotting.
