V8 sound in the morning?

Any one else keep the door open as he turn on the 5.7 V8 every morning?
I can’t be the only one

 

I do when it’s cold to let it warm up. Not to listen to it though, just don’t get in it yet

 

I’ve got a custom racing exhaust system, so I use no throttle in the neighborhood in the morning, or the afternoon. It’s a truck not a Honda.

 

I usually stand in front of the truck with the hood open and hit the remote start just to hear the engine roar to life...afterwards I head back in to the house to change my pants....when I am wearing pants.

 

I completely removed the firewall so the v8 sound is front and center at all times. Booyah!

 

I did that and also routed the exhaust right in to the cab so I don’t miss a single decibel

 

The throttle is the least of concerns. I bet that cold start is nice and loud

Absolutely. Especially with the Carven exhaust.

 

I keep the windows rolled down in the dead of winter to hear the TRD exhaust. Does that count?

 

I turn the truck over in the morning with the door open, not necessary the V8 sound, but more to double check if the cats were stolen.....
Because you can hear it.....lol

I do, I have the dirty deeds 8” system and it sounds awesome. I’m a fast driver and always hammering down the throttle, it sounds so good.

 

You don't need the door open to hear missing cats..
