2022 Limited Chrome Delete

Is anyone offering pre painted chrome delete kits yet? Looking for army green all 5 handles and stash.

 

Sparks was, but the last quote I got for just the stache and rear bumper panels was close to if not a hair over $1k…

they sell you the blanks, then have a paint shop near them paint them for you before mailing off… not sure what warranty is on those…

 

One year warranty. They don’t have the mustache in stock, it’s on back order , ETA unknown.

 

I guess I should've phrased that differently. What would you be willing to pay for my take offs?

Haha I get it now. I'm not really looking to buy any but keeping an eye on ebay for some cheapos .. I just want a spare single one to experiment with but I'm in no rush.

 

I know it's not chrome but I wasn't fortunate enough to get a trd offroad I have a limited hybrid. I am wondering if anyone has a part number for the trd offroad fender flares as mine are gloss grey.

Sharp Signs. They did a great job IMO. Booked in to go back in August for the moustache.

 

did mine finally on Friday afternoon… forgot to flip the white lock lever on both rear doors and handles went flying Saturday morning- super lame! Had to open both rear doors back up again.


In other chrome delete news- I have had the dealership order in 3 black passenger rear window mouldings (the curved bottom one) and all of them have been bent or tweaked and don’t fit. Hoping todays 4th one finally works

 

I ordered all 6 window mouldings, said 2 weeks out.

 

Really wish they would get with it and offer the handles in Lunar Rock...

 

I think you misunderstood. That is not mine. It just popped up in my feed. I posted it for WrapCO because he said it's not a chrome delete until it's all gone. I just wanted to give him another project.

 

No more satin chrome on MGM limited. Mustache/Toyota Emblem/Tundra cross piece all body color. Before and after pics below. Might be a little dark.

 

To TRY and detract from the chrome moustache, while I wait on the new parts to be painted, I have added some heritage to the chrome...

Got a grill surround off of them color matched to lunar rock and looks perfect. It was like $265 shipped when I ordered it but it looks like they’ve upped their prices. Took about 4 weeks to receive.

Still planning to wrap mine soon, but it's great to see some more reasonable options for painted replacements than Sparks...

 

Thanks for the info, I ordered Army Green yesterday. I ordered color matched bumper end caps and door handles for my 21 army green but it was wrecked before they arrived. That sucked pretty bad. Anyway, now I have a 2022 and I want to do a few color match things. I hope this works out, I am not opposed to vinyl wrap but I haven't found a shop that says " hell yeah, we can do that for you" locally.

 

Colour matched my moustache and rear bumper panels and changed the grille to the TRD grille on my Windchill Pearl limited. I took the pieces off myself and brought them to local paint shop. Also installed the black chrome exhaust tip and black Tundra letters on the tailgate. This is how it should have come from the factory. Otherwise, 8000 km’s in 6 months and no issues so far except for the occasional speeding ticket

 

Has anyone found a single source for the chrome delete? Everything I've seen seems to be handles from one place, mustache from another, etc...even if this does not exist, I would love a summary of sourcing/costs for a full exterior chrome delete:

Color Match (Army Green in my case)
-Mustache (all 3 pieces)
-Front/Rear Bumpers
-Door Handles - has Toyota released the Army Green OEM ones yet? I miss @Roman 's thread
-Tailgate Handle


Black:
-Window Trim
-Tailgate Handle (if no color match available)
-Emblems (this one seems easy, may just pastidip)

$2500 Canadian I got everything from Toyota except the door handle covers and paint matched local.

Only thing they don't have currently is the window trim, but everything else in one place.

 

I have a Army Green 1794 on the way and I have all the factory paint matched parts on order. One thing I am lacking is the army green front fog light surround from a Platinum model. It goes right
below the pro/heritage grill on order and comes in chrome (yuck) stock on a 1794 and body colored on a platinum.

Anyone of that platinum part number by chance in army green? Please and Thank you!

 

They don’t offer the platinum in army green, so your options are to order it in gloss black (all platinums come with gloss black), have your painted (not the best option) have it wrapped gloss black, or army green- best option

 

I don't think toyota color matches this part on any configuration. It's only either chrome (on 1794 and capstone) or black (all other models). I had mine painted after I got my truck.
