Sure seems like a lot of "issues" are from new/first time posters. Makes ya wonder

They google the issue, Tundras.com pops up and they join and ask.

    Not too uncommon.

That’s why judging problems from forums, Facebook groups, etc is just silly.

You’re going to get way more posts from someone who has the tiniest problem here and there than the 99% of owners with zero issues at all. Those people aren’t taking to the internet to tell everyone how happy they are with their truck and how they’ve had no issues with it.

People are much more inclined to vent about issues or ask questions about those issues than to post how uneventful and normal their new vehicle purchase has been.

I'm up to around 2k miles now with no hassles

In a world where reviews, forums, and online feedback are becoming more popular, we will only see more of this. People will see what they want to see when sorting through the info.

My first post. I joined because I recently put a deposit on an allocation. I join forums for pretty much everything I own. They're all the same- what appears to be a ton of issues and impending doom but is really only a vocal minority and relatively rare problems. Lots of criticism for anything new. Endless debate about oil viscosity. All forums are like that, even the one for my lawn mower(!). But buried in the noise is usually a ton of useful info and helpful members.

Nope. I couldn't get any sidewall. Had to go with a smaller model.

That's how many people find forums like this. I have a ton of issues with my truck and Google brought me here months ago, so I asked questions about the problems to people who could hopefully help.

Google is funny that way. Google - I don't have arthritis - and see if it takes you to a forum of people who don't suffer.:cheers:
