We firmed up the agreement a few months ago and we were waiting for my '22 to come in. It's finally in the dealer's pipeline, so dad will be paying me and setting up a time to pick up the '05 in a month or so.

Seems that the occasional clunk that I thought was my steering rack may have just been loose-ish sway bar ends. I had the noise on a turn this morning and decided to pull the links to test. Both sides were snug but not torqued at the LCAs. Drove about 50 miles today and the sound did not repeat. We will see.

You’re still running a sway bar?

My follow up was that there's a good chance I run with the big dogs and ditch it all together. Now, this is my daily, not my dedicated off-road truck and I corner hard. But my
COs don't seem to care how hard I corner. So to answer, probably not anymore...lol.

Have you ran without it just to see? I was super suprised how well behaved it was without it.

Yeah - once before and all day today. It's great. My only hesitation has been getting cut off at 80MPH on the freeway with a loaded truck. Not that I've tested that one.

I did not enjoy driving without my sway bar at all. I don't feel like I'm sacrificing a lot by keeping it on either.

I wonder how we could test the articulation with and without the sway bar to see how much it changes. To me, it had an uncomfortable amount of body roll without it. In TN, our roads looks like this.

I don't know - but feel is huge. If I pay attention, my truck tells me when I'm approaching a limit. If it doesn't feel right on turns like that....

Zip tie on the shock shaft. Drive identical loops with and without the sway bar, without nosediving via brakes.

Goat a couple of arm parts. Nothing special and this stuff can change. But, one thing stays - that universal phone mount on the right for my boy or girl(s). Co-pilot can't be holding their phone in their hand.

    Uh oh. Sounds cancer causing…

On another note. I keep hearing a rotational squeal that sounds like it’s coming from the driver front. Sounds like two pieces of rubber rubbing together?
The sound matches either wheel rotation or driveline speed me things.
Sounded like it went away under loading the front left (right corner)
I don’t know what it would be up front at the CVs are pretty new.
Carrier bearing/and or Ujoints probably are due soon though.

so it would appear OV tune only fully supports a 2008 4.7 tundra. us first gens dont have calibration files on the list which means nothing can be done (well for access and reg cabs. i cant speak for doubles)

Couple questions. I really like the look of this. I missed if you mentioned who makes it. Link?

My only concern is airflow. Does having all that stuff there block air from those vents? I know it's not as hot where you live as it is here. We need all the air we can get.

Why do you think he’s banned from most forums. Dudes smart as fuck. But he has adhd. Typically only 1 calibration has all the features he boasts. But he promises all. Then he moved on as soon as one thing has said features

    Thanks buddy.
    Here's what there:
The steel brackets on the side of the radio are 1/4" that I ground to fit and tabbed in the back to bolt to the under dash chassis
The 3/8" sheet (marine board - Amazon) that connects to those I milled and drilled to accept the 3/4" rod.
The 3/4" rod is a 12" piece of deralin or some dense plastic (Amazon)
The 3/4" rod attachments, and the longer arm, and all heads are 67 Designs
The shorter 2" arms are either Amazon or another company I cant remember.
Everything is based on 20mm ball heads - plenty tight for lighter accessories.
