Hey all, new member here, from the Pacific North Wet. Just bought my new '22 CM LTD TRD OR, 6.5' bed Tundra in Army Green, calling it the "Hulk". Took almost 3 months on order to get. So far (80 miles in), no issues. Loving the pep in its step. Came from a '13 Chevy Silverado 2500HD which was more sluggish, worse turning radius and bumpier ride. But of course these 2 trucks are meant for different tasks. I've also previously owned an '09 DC Tundra and 1998 Ram. The kids are loving the room in back.

    Things I'm looking to do:
    1. Add a 12v "cigarette" socket at the rear of the center console to plug in the kids' DVD player. Unless I can find one that runs off USB, but so far no luck. Anyone know if there's 12v wiring under the console to tap off of?
    2. May wrap the hood for low glare, like clear matte or black matte.
    3. May de-chrome - blacked out. How...? Wrap, replace with OEM black/colored pieces? Paint, plasti-dip? Black duct tape? ;-)
    4. Front windows tinted
    5. Side-steps
    6. Debating a tonneau or shell. I've had shells on 2 of my last 3 trucks, good for ferrying the dogs around and quick camping, so leaning that way once more options become available. Bought.jpg kids.jpg

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! While I love my 2020, I do wish I had had the option of a 6.5' bed.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. Nice looking truck. Pretty sure the crew cab/6.5 box combo wouldn’t fit in my garage.

Beautiful truck! I'm new too from a less wet part of the PNW. Looking at some of the same upgrades you are (front window tint, black out the 'chrome', add canopy or tonneau cover) so I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.

Got the front windows tinted today (15%) - mostly matching the rear windows darkness. So far I've only found Leer has the 100-series options as for a canopy. I'm might await the 180 series, I like the higher room. I went to a auto-wrap shop, they wanted near $1000 to black out the various chrome and moustache - I'll be passing on that for now. Next up is some side steps, but I'm kinda thinking to wait for the motorized ones from Amp Research, maybe the bed step as well.
