What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

How do you like the fit? I was thinking about getting them in cement for my truck

 

overall, I'm happy w/ them, but you can see a little bit of chrome by each of the fog lights. zoom in and you will see. I'm not overly picky about it tho, still looks good imo

 

Had a flat on the right rear tire of the New Holland TS110.

Had to go pickup the Band-Aid & Bubblegum compressor and air hose and tote them to the tractor.

It was hot out there!

Mission accomplished!

 

Well the first one was a challenge. Because it look like the wires that come with the mirror is long enough. But that's not the case. You will need to remove the door panel and the mirror housing to fish the wires. And add longer wires to the new mirror. The second went alot faster. Just an fyi.

 

Installed the OEM Cement mirror caps yesterday. Looking for Cement front door handles. The online dealer who sold me the mirror caps says they are not available from Toyota. Hmmm…

 

Installed the LED fog light bulbs from Amazon. Best $30 mod imo. OEM LED headlight replacement is next on my list.

 

Face-lift. Got rid of the chrome mirrors covers and swapped out Headlights for the TRD pros

 

I bought my set from Sparks Parts.

 

Added the Spotter mirrors! Nice little touch!

 

I put one of the black TRD shift knobs on mine the other day and it's a little bit loose for some reason. There's a little bit of play in it no matter how tightly I crank down on it. Anyone else experienced that before? Wondering if I should exchange it or if this is common on these knobs.

 

Installed the tech12volt 8 channel amp and 10" sub in my JBL system.

$885 delivered and night/day difference.

I plugged my laptop into the amp and tweaked the sound for about an hour last night. Wifey came out and said 'can't you at least turn off your headlights so you don't look like a total tool?!'

 

Installed what should have came as standard equipment on the truck. I spent more time getting the tools out and put away than the mod took.

 

1st 5000 mile Oil change, installed a Fumoto Valve, metal oil filter housing.
Glad the TRD skid plate has an access panel and the Fumoto is installed to make future oil changes easier.



Also added a touch of paint to the engine cover.

 

How was the install of the amp? Any issues at all?

 

Had to look up the valve, where has that been my whole life

I did a write up in A/V forum too. It's a little windy

 

Just finished a quick little mod for the day. Now I can sit back and enjoy a little treat!

Changed the front diff fluid, transfer case, engine oil and installed some weather tech window visors. Busy Father’s Day morning haha

 

Installed the RCI aluminum skid plate. It is really hot here.

 

Put in an oil separator this afternoon.

 

I still don't get where there's a difference between the black and smoked chrome on the PRO headlights but whatever yours are, they look great, especially on the best color truck

 

I would say you’re costing me a lot of money…. But those are cheap, and it’s my wife’s money anyway
