Finally received my extended skid from ssbuilt. Took a little work to get it on but she's in. This should overlap the RCI skid once I get that going. Next stop Vegas. We head out tomorrow 3am then drop the truck off Monday morning for the LT install and bedsides. I'll keep ya'll updated! The old mans coming up from phx with his rig hopefully we can hit some dirt and see how it all works.

Front items completed! Now on to the rear Hopefully pick it up Thursday. Also, I ordered 37s which I didn’t think they would arrive until we got back but ordered today and already shipped to arrive Thursday lol. Discount tire direct had 6 Mickey Thompson mt’s which was surprising.

Overall longer travel due to longer shocks and control arms. Purpose for the secondary is higher performance along with more rebound and compression control. Also assists in more consistent performance with more fluid capacity as the secondary is handling the dampening more. Shocks get ridiculously hot during sustained long off-roading.

LOL sorry for the delay traffic and the wife made dinner plans.Pics attached more to come after I sneak away this evening lol. Initial impressions, it feels totally different and will definitely take some getting used to. I snuck off an hit a power line dirt road and the performance is night and day. It feels like I can push way hard if I wanted. I plan on doing some shock tuning once we get all the gear in.

What do you have to do to match the rear track width to the front after the long travel control arms?

If I remember right there are three options. In order of cost:
    1. Run 3” spacers on the rear axle.
    2. Order the same wheels but in like a 14+” width from custom offsets.
    3. Get a full width 12 bolt rearend.

ok. First two are only if you live in NC or SC

You don’t want it square if possible, at speed in the dirt it’ll wander and track weird. But you can get and aftermarket rear end or spacers.

I’m curious now…so is it better to have the rear track narrower or wider?

You want the front track wider. If you look at all the lt kits or trophy trucks you can see it . My fathers rig was square and at high speed in the dirt/beach it would wander. Removed the spacers and it was night and day. Well also wider for travel etc
