Just ordered the Westcott kit and 35x12.5/20 tires for my TRD Sport and I need to find around 6mm or 1/4" wheel spacers to clear the UCA in order to not rub. Does anyone know of any or has installed any on their 22's that can comment regarding fitment, etc? There are a ton of them online, but I don't like taking chances with things like these and would like real world user reviews, if possible. Also, if anyone has any accurate hub bore size, etc...
    Thanks in advance!

I don't think a 1/4" spacer will give you enough turns on your lug nuts to be safe.

Do you mean the actual remaining length of the bolt being long enough?

Correct. Do you know how long the lugs are?

I believe Westcott was using a 3mm on a couple of their setups with 35x12.5. 1/4" is 6.35mm

unsure. I'm gonna reach out to Westcott and see what their experience was with the kit on the TRD sport with 35s. They mentioned having to run a spacer to clear the UCA because of the stock wheel backspacing but never mentioned anything about the lugs. Thanks for bringing it up...I want to make it as safe as possible.

thanks! Just spoke to them, they said it was able to be tightened safely using stock lugs with the spacer. However, I think I'm going to try and return the 35s and pick up 295-65/20s instead to negate the need for spacers.

What did you end up going with Loonaroq22? I have a TRD Sport and am trying to decide between the 295-65/20 or 35x12.5/20.

I think 6mm or 1/4" wheel spacers need extended lugs to keep safe
Find a blog talking about this:
"Giving an example, an M14 wheel stud would need at least 14mm threads to ensure a safe engagement. As a guideline claims, you need at least 7 turns (preferably 8 turns) from start to torque. "

Again, I know this is an old thread but talked with westcott yesterday and was told they do not recommend a shim for many reasons. Said it was just something they did at the shop. Ugh, I ordered there kit earlier due to the video showing a 3mm shim and even saying they can be found on Amazon. Don’t know what way to go now.

You're not going to want to hear this, but the best safest, least ghetto way is to purchase new wheels with an off set closer to 0 that your current wheels.
