Correct...you can't lock the truck with the 2nd fob while it's running, but you can lock it with the 2nd key while it's running.

 

My problem with using the 2nd key to lock it manually from the outside, is before exiting I’m having to hit the lock button on the door to lock all 4 doors, then get out to manually relook the driver door. Otherwise, if I just get out with all 4 unlocked, only the driver door gets locked with the key from the outside. It works, but it’s much smoother if the 3WLiner allows you to just park, roll driver window down, reach in and lock all 4 doors and roll the window back up. And now that I have a 5 month old tagging along with us, I’m all about finding out smoother ways to tackle day to day tasks

 

If you manually turn the 2nd key twice to lock, it will lock all 4 doors. I'll check that too.

Well, i just checked and for my solution it’s as easy as getting out of the truck and lock it manually with the key. Guess I was overthinking it
