Replaced my grill, hood bulge and installed my bumper shellz this weekend. Made a much better look! The color matched parts I got from Sparks weren't an exact match, but they were close enough for me. (and closer than they appear in pics)

I hope those bumper caps last, they don't seem overly tough, but time will tell!

Thanks guys! I really am super happy with it. I hated that big chrome grill.

I've fallen in love all over. Haha

Dangit, that looks great! Ugh stop making me spend money. @AircoolerKirk can I ask for a rough guesstimate of how much it all cost?

Sure! I think I gave right at about $500 for the BumperShellz, front and rear, $217 for the bulge and $385 for the grill. Roughly. You may can find better deals around, I ordered the grill through Sparks, and the wrong thing came, then got back ordered for months and months and months, and I couldn't find the grill anywhere, so i ordered it off eBay through treasure coast toyota. It cost me more that way, maybe $100? But I had it in like a week.

So about $1100 give or take $100.

Ouch. Hurts a little when I add it all up. Oof. Still worth it.

How easy was it to install the bumper shellz? I've had a set in a box for almost 2 years.. Last part of my chrome delete (other than wheels)...

    Looks great..

I've been on the fence on BumperShellz because I was concerned about the fit.
    I'm picky about that stuff.
    Do they fit pretty well?

    As to the MGM color match;
Mine is off a tad, but it has more to do with light reflection making it look off.

2019 OEM TRD Pro LED headlights with an @iHacker harness...
That would complete your exterior chrome delete..
The output of the LEDs compared to halogen is phenomenal.

I kept the amber DLRs, I don't like the bright white halos during the day.
But the dim halos come on with parking lights and the headlights.

Such a huge improvement! I did it on my truck, though instead of BumperShellz I replaced the front bumper end caps with painted OEM ones. My rear bumper was already painted. Just like you said, it makes you fall in love with it all over again.

Oh you read my mind. I want those lights so dang bad. You have no idea. Are the harnesses available? Seems like they were out of stock for awhile.

So, the bumpershellz. They fit decently well. They aren't overly thick, but have a tiny little lip that goes under the plastics that hold them in place, then use 3m double sided tape and bolt on using preexisting holes/hardware to mount. The fronts snapped in fine. I was worried about seeing chrome around the fog lights, but it fits well. The rears aren't quite as snug, and i can see chrome in one place, if I look for it. So, they really arent bad, and the color is good, and they match the factory pieces perfectly. Not very thick, but I'm happy with them.

Which harness option did you go with?

    Good to know.
I may have to try them.
Last I checked it was over $800 for parts and getting OEM plastic bumper ends painted.
Not including my time to install them.

I contacted @iHacker and told him what I wanted, to keep my amber DLRs during the day and have the halos come on dim with the parking/headlights.
He sold me the harness I needed.
No extra wiring to anything, no repinned of sockets, it was plug and play for me.
Not sure what option it is..

I put off getting the LED headlights for 2 years.
They give much better light and the hi-beams are amazing.

    Your truck looks nice.
If you're looking to spend more money on it, painted door handles look nice..
    Even on a dirty truck...

Well, years after my chrome delete, I finally got around to replacing my headlights. I could not be happier with the result. It was much much more involved than I thought! Found not used OEM TRD Halogen lights on eBay from a Toyota dealership, so they were completely plug and play.

    The beginning:

    12.jpg

    First, the grill comes off.
    13.jpg

Then the panels under the headlights:
    14.jpg

Which allows you to access all the bolts to remove the headlight.
    16.jpg

    2.jpg

Installation was a breeze, and the exact opposite of installation. I did manage to break one of the small push pins but nothing else.
