We're still all good. We left town to do a little camping and get away from all of the crazy stuff.

What's goin on NM Tundra folks. We're probably moving down to ABQ later this year. While I LOVE CO (I will return), the fiancé isn't as enthused with the length of winter. Just got back from house hunting and we'll probably be somewhere either NW or NE ABQ (MAYBE southern Rio Rancho). We were looking at a house in North Valley, but it was in a very undesirable neighborhood. Too bad as it had a 4 bay pole building on the property.

Anyway, are people down for the off-roadin?

Let me know if you have any questions on Abq logistics or neighborhoods, I have quite a bit of experience there.

Cool. Thanks. We're working with a realtor on that, but I'll hit you up if I've got some deeper questions.

Welcome from Tijeras. Love the trees and the snow. Just a few miles and you are in ABQ. Goes the other way as well. Nice escape from the metro area. While you are looking for a house, dont forget the Eastern Mountains.

Does anyone want to buy my TSS wheels? Heading down in 2 weeks. See my post in the Colorado Trading post thread if interested. I'll bring em down if someone wants to make a deal.

We're looking at a bunch of houses in NW ABQ and about 75% of the ones we've seen have a SxS in the garage. The hell ya'll doing down there that 3/4 of people have a SxS?

It was a COVID fad. It seems as if 75% of the population had to have a SxS or a swimming pool built while they sat at home doing nothing.

Thanks for the new bed rack @STravis and SOB Fabrication, Sliders then a rear bumper are on the list. Born and raised in NM, moved back in 2019.

Well that makes sense. All of the ones I saw were very clean. Looks like they'd only been out a couple of times.

We could always make something happen. Are you wanting bolt on or weld on?

I actually haven't even crawled under to look at the frame to see the difficulty that bolt ons would be but I think that would be my preference. I guess I'm not sure to be honest the more I think of it. Maybe you can give me some insight on both? This will be my first set of actual sliders instead of side steps/running boards

Weld on is stronger in my opinion. Bolt on is strong enough for most people though. The added ability to remove them to repaint them is a huge bonus as well. I've always run bolt on and been ok.

I may be down in Las Cruces at some point next week, we could get together and take a look and discuss some options.

I was thinking about the extra benefits to bolt on, not to mention I'm sure it will suit all of my needs and more. I'm not gonna go get crazy off-road in the new Tundra quite yet haha

Let me know when you plan on coming to town I'll definitely make some time

Welp. Got bigly hosed by our lender. Was told in initial conversations that closing costs would be about 3-4k, disclosures came back and it's over 10k, so we're done. See you all some other time. Gonna stay put for now and ride this out.

Anyone in NM interested in a basically new set of 2022 TRD 18 inch wheels. I am really trying to avoid shipping these, I'm in Las Cruces but will meet within a reasonable distance. No tires, no TPMS, but got the original lug nuts if needed. Only had 500 miles when I took them off, no scratches, no dings, etc. Don't know what these are worth or what they are going for so let's start at $800.

Anybody interested in a high clearance rear bumper for any second gen Tundra with dual swingouts? $2,400 and I'll have it sandblasted. I can also have it powder coated.

I also have 5 SCS Ray 10's in matte gray that I need to sell. $1,300 with lug nuts.

Had a little spill during a hunt this weekend. She’s alright but the predator steps are bent. If anyone knows of any steps being sold locally let me know. Otherwise I’ll probably have to order a new pair in a few weeks.

Thanks! No luck with the elk hunt in unit 6A. Found some tracks but wasn’t able to find any. The rain didn’t help though. My friend actually has the tag and he may go tomorrow through Wednesday so there’s still a little hope!

Nice man, best of luck to your friend! I have an archery hunt in January in unit 21. I'm down at the south end of the State so I don't frequent them single digit units much lol
