That sucks. I am waiting on some other parts that I thought would be here in about 8 weeks fr0m the order date. I am 8 weeks and found out that I might be waiting for another 8 weeks. I need those parts before I can travel this summer. Kind of the same boat.

    Just so everyone is tracking:

If you are installing all the lights on the hybrid bumper you will need to install the XL 80s upside down and then flip the lens over. If not, the XL 80s will not be flush and stick out a great deal as seen in picture below:

Not sure if it’s been discussed or mentioned before.

Is that your shop?? If so I am JEALOUS! I can barely get mine into the garage. Bumper and lights look awesome. When I see that style with all the lights I sometimes wish I went that route vs. the Overland.

Dad's shop. Definitely makes working on it easier. And i cant even get the tundra in my own home garage . Hybrid bumper is awesome. I really wanted the high hoop and wide version but that would have been just too much extra stuff to buy.

I just got a call from C4 this morning saying that my bumper is going into production. That's a little earlier than stated on their web site. They called to ask about the shipping address. I will have it before the end of next week. I ordered it on 3/8/22.

I have ordered bumpers, sliders, skids etc. for multiple vehicles and in my experience C4 has had the best customer service. They were quick to respond to issues and kept me updated through the process. I had an issue with the wrong rear bumper bolt pack being sent and they overnighted it no questions asked.

I got a call first thing this morning. The first thing the guy wanted to know is if the delivery truck had to have a lift gate or would I like to ship it to a shop to have it powder coated. They are trying to make things as easy for me as possible. He said I might even have it Monday but for sure by the end next week. I can't think of anything they could do any better.

Lol feel that! I got the cheap light bar when I originally bought the bumper but think I’m ready to upgrade to the S8 and sell the LP9s to

Long shot here, but is anyone in the northern CA area with a hybrid bumper interested in trading for an overland bumper? Mine has minor pinstripes and a few surface scratches that have been touched up. No major gouges or damage otherwise.

Pic for attention. Could include LP9s as well for cash on top. Other lights and winch not included.

I received my Overlander front bumper yesterday. They delivered it to my house. I don't live close to any FedEx freight hub so they delivered it. It is better than expected. The welds are flawless. The only problem is that they holes ARE NOT big enough for the SS3 DD fog lights that I got for the bumper. I had to grind them out. I drove all the way into town (1 hour one way) and got a die grinder, drove home (another hour). I opened the box and discovered the collet was crushed and wouldn't open up to receive a 1/4 inch grinding stone. I grabbed my drill and used it for a die grinder. It took quite a while to get the holes opened up enough. I took it to the Line-X shop this afternoon. They might have it ready for me to pick it up tomorrow. I will update as I get further along.

Sounds like a pain and sorry to hear that.

Lots of info in this thread on how DD lights don't fit and some fab is required to make them work. Also why C4 doesnt sell them..

I was going to go with DD lights also but it would have been way too much work to make them fit so I just bought the BD. Which is what the C4 bumper was designed around.

So I actually get better gas mileage with the C4 bumper vs the OEM bumper. I was getting 15.5 before the C4 install I’m now getting 17.1 Can’t believe it.

I considered the BD lights. I got the S8 light bar is backlit. Their LP9s are backlit too (which I didn't get). It would only make sense that they offered it with their Squadron lights but I can't find anything that says that the Squadrons are backlit. I want the fog lights to work as much like stock as possible only brighter.

Just curious, why are you considering swapping them out? One other if I can, you're rear bumper with the tire-carrier swingout looks great, who makes that? Thanks.

I prefer the aesthetics of the hybrid.

C4 actually makes the rear bumper. I had a local fabricator add the swingout, table, and molle panel.

Re: Hybrid/Overland, understood on the aesthetics, tough choice as both are nice. Do you have pics of the table? Thanks for the info on the rear bumper- very cool!

Hard to tell from the picture, about how deep is that table, does it fold down, or slide out? Wish bumper co's produced something like this. Thanks.

Well a little disappointed this morning: when to install my 2019 LED headlights with the @iHackerharness and I’m not able to take off the grill because LP9s on the C4 bumper. So going to have to wait until December to get them installed by the shop that is installing the AT Overland Summit. Such a bummer.
