What mount did you use for your rear tire. Looks great

I hope it will be more clearance but I can’t find anyone who does a pinch and I have no tools they are all in storage

It's by Vijay. I got it on Amazon.

It was the cheapest one I could find that accommodated a winch and lights and helps with clearing 37s. So far I haven't wired the lights but one already has some moisture in it. I guess I shouldn't expect too much from the lights but we'll see how they go when I wire them up and try to seal it better

I actually got this custom made by 6 Monkeys in Florida. He makes them for Jeep Cherokee I think, but will custom build it for most vehicles. It was about half the price of Wilco and Rigd.

    https://6monkeys.net/shop/ols/products/6-monkeys-tire-swing

All he had to do different for the Tundra was make it 8 inches wider and I had to buy a spacer for the spare tire mount. I also filed down some Tundra wheel studs and used them in the tire mount so I could use the same lug nuts. Took it out on some very rocky roads yesterday and it handled amazing on the back. Nothing has loosened up yet.

eh.. A 37 is a 37 is a 37. MT or AT, they are all still 37s. The larger lugs on the MT tires don't "stick out" any further than the smaller lugs of an AT. The entire tire still fits into the same form factor, meaning if an MT rubs, so will an AT. The ONLY differences that will make a tire not rub, is if the real diameter or width is smaller, or if the wheel offset is changed.

That is the best looking bumper I've seen so far as far as the features I am looking for. despite its size, it is still pretty high clearance. It appears to have top access to the winch free spool handle even if it is only a small cutout, and it doesn't cost $2500.

The only issue I see is that it says it is made from 5/32 plate steel.. I just don't think that is going to be strong enough for my usage on such a heavy truck.

Have you bashed that bumper into anything yet? Dropped it on a boulder? Any abuse? How did it hold up?

While that's mostly true, it's worth noting that some "37s" are actually 36.5" and some are a lot closer to a true "37."

You are absolutely right. However, that doesn't change between MTs and ATs.

On a side note, I've even seen some 37s that were closer to 35.5. I have the Goodyear MTR/k on my Jeep. 33x12.50r15. They are pretty true to 33in and were taller than a 36in tire that was floating around in the fabrication shop I used to work at. I wish I could remember the brand of that tire, but it was a big joke around that shop. Whenever anybody did something stupid we'd say "I bet he runs ____ 36s".

It does have good winch access and it seems pretty stout so far. I didn't bash it on anything yet, but I'm sure one day it will get its test. I did jack the truck up with it so I could align it better and nothing seemed to bend or squeak. Not really a good test, but it's something lol. And it was only 700 or so bucks! It comes in pieces, so putting it all together is a pain, but I guess that's how you get the price down. I'm happy so far with it. Looks and function

I have Gladiator XComp ATs. They're advertised as 37x13.50, but measure a lot closer to 36 by 12.50...I feel like I got catfished a little, but they still look sick, and I haven't had to adjust my control arms yet to avoid rubbing, so I'll take the fluffed up measurements lol

As I recall, Micky's run closer to 37, 36.7ish. But, each of their tires is different. If you know which one you're looking for you can usually find the spec either on their web site or at Discount tires web site

Not gonna do the PWM yourself? All you need is a angle grinder, a sledge hammer, some rubberized coating, and a 6 pack of beer.
