    So I've got Code P1441 - 'Valve #2 Bank 1 Open'

After looking on the Hewlett site, I see a ton of codes related to the SAIS.
Being in CA with the Smog Nazi's, I'm trying to see if I'd be OK with a bypass kit, or take it in to have it fixed and pony up all the dough.

My question is this, how many other SAIS components are in there that can/will fail ?
If I'm going to put out $2500.00 or whatever to fix it, is there other parts (valves) I should replace as 'preventative'? I'd hate to throw all that cash, and then a few months down the road have to tear it all open again for another couple grand because I didn't replace the 'other' parts/ components.

    Hope I explained that correctly.

    Thanks again.

Thanks . . . that video 'almost' makes we wanna take a stab at it myself. Not sure if I want to spend the dough on all those parts, and if I'm LUCKY, do that in an entire weekend. Seems that whole system was/is designed poorly. Contemplating the bypass kit as well.
I wonder if there are any negative long term effects on the engine using the Hewitt Kit.

The air injection system is mainly for emissions, it helps heat your cats up faster at startup, so no real negative issues in the long run that I can see
