So we drove up to Denton yesterday, as I mentioned. It's about a 4 hour trip or a little over $200 in Tundra fuel. I did get some mementos.

I took this pictures for @Azblue as we were passing through Fort Worth. I figure you've probably at least paid for their nice signage (2nd pic is from the trip home).



Here's a shot of my Mafia-ed out cooler... Fits perfectly in the back seat and it kept my emergency supply of candy from melting.



This was parked in downtown Denton. It's not a Camaro on bicycle tires but I thought @Jim LE 1301 would appreciate it.

Oh and a t-shirt that I really liked but it was $26 - I'd rather spend that on ToyoMafia gear (and KitKats..).

 

I’m in the land of Miller (Milwaukee). It’s sad that they don’t even volume brew that beer here anymore. We’ve been doing tours of the small breweries we used to frequent back in college (Sprecher, Lakefront).
A lot has changed. And a lot hasn’t.
We even closed Wolski’s

No, but when I went to school here I did tour it.

Working on it. It’s the in-laws pool, hasn’t been open in 3 years and I don’t know what I’m doing but the MIL is too cheap to hire a guy. It’s has cleared up a lot from when I started

 

That's great! I've cut back a lot on candy since April but yours is a much bigger accomplishment. I'm truly happy for you.

 

Yeah that’s great! Glad for you both. I’ve lost about 20lbs since January. Have almost completely quit drinking.

Too cheap to hire the guy, so YOU ARE the guy now.

Problem was, every time I did something for a certain someone, I did exactly what she asked me to do, FOR FREE.
Then she would tell anyone that would listen to her, 'that's not wanted I wanted'..

Fortunately, my wife has written off every one of her relatives, except her cousin, that is like a brother to her.
Her Mom passed when she was 12, her father passed in 2020.
It's a win-win..
