Congrats!!! Build date of 4/29 on mine and still anxiously waiting… I’ve driven the non-hybrid version a couple weeks back. Got one as a rental funny enough. Really excited to see how the hybrid is different.

It sure as hell won’t help.

All the Class 1 RR’s have been doing the same things and it has caused tremendous harm to the supply chain and broader economic conditions.

I have been with BNSF for 15 years going on 16 years. I’ve never seen it this bad. Most of us don’t give a shit at this point, the relationship between the operating employees and the company is so damaged now that it might be irreparable.

I’m lined up for the Q-ALTPTLx-xxx later tonight. Guaranteed intermodal service between Alliance, TX and Portland, OR. Not sure if any auto racks from Toyota San Antonio plant would be on there after being classified into the train at Alliance, TX.

Either way I’ll do my level best to beat the living shit out of the trailing tonnage with dynamic braking and ham fisted throttle application. That way all your new Tundra’s can arrive with shipping damage. Enjoy!

    I kid, I kid…

Last time I saw auto racks get damaged they totaled out every vehicle inside regardless of whether or not they were damaged. Ripped them all out with chains connected to bull dozers. All the damage is from unloading the auto racks, because a CAT D9 is the obvious choice to unload a derailed and upright auto rack.EAE327ED-9929-4D91-9A27-7F61FA556BB7.jpg

Not sure on that. Might even be a different route than mine.

Generally loaded cars that originate at an industry will be picked up by a local road switcher or dedicated train if the number of cars is enough to constitute an entire train. The vehicles will be loaded in auto racks according to destination. Once they get picked up it will be off to a classification yard to be put on the right train headed to another classification yard or to the loaded car’s final destination.

With the lack of crews and locomotives to do all this work, it’s probably going to take longer than it should.

I’m sorry to hear how poor the conditions are these days. You would hope that supply and demand would equalize things out. But I guess that’s in a normal world in which we currently do NOT live in. Seems like everything is just crazy with no rational explanation for any of it.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for the info. I’ve had 2 camping trips canceled while waiting for truck(don’t want to put extra miles on my trade in). My next trip is scheduled to the oregon coast on the 29th, looks like that one will be canceled or heavily modified. Sadly I have to request vacations 30-90 days out. I originally put a deposit down on a Toyota rep demo trade in. Was suppose to be a month(I put deposit down March 20th). 2 months later Sales person let me know that the reps next demo vehicle was delayed with no ETA so he started looking at allocations. Same day called me back that customer had backed out of this truck, and it had everything I wanted so switched deposit to this one. Might be a hotel trip towards end of vacation rather than travel trailer vacation. Lame. Haha!

Gotcha. I know the blue arrow is stuck on processing, but how true do the dates to the right of the blue progress tend to be?

Tried tracking the rail car thru that 877#. Says the car is empty and was released from Colorado. I guess it's not updated. Thanks to @cdq85 and @Brums for keeping us informed and checking all those VINs. Without you we wouldn't even have this much info. You guys are Rock stars!!

I had the same issue as well! Said it was emptied on Jan 11. I believe that means it was moved to different rail company? IDK. I'm hoping mine will come in soon.
