How's everybody's Friday going? Looks like Erik is winning it with his foreign vacation.

 

'bout to call it a day here. Only had to work two days after coming back. My views weren't quite as awesome as FGV's, but I couldn't complain about the weather.

So my son graduated HS today. I'm a photograph enthusiast and have been at it for some time. Somehow, the stars aligned I had likely the best photo session ever. Feeling pumped.

I ordered a flag. A guy on eBay has a pretty fun set of options. I'm going with a little flag with a 1/4" whip and a quick release mounted to the rack. Cheap fun. If I ever dune, I'll need an orange or red flag.

 

I just need something to get behind it and pop the brass out. It's like the extractor went on vacation too.

Not that I know of. A 187 by 5150 whips is the best. I plan to get one, to mount horizontally to the back of my bed rack. Because I’ll break it if I mount it vertically.

I don’t love anything Cali makes except those lights— and those’re sold as forward facing dust lights. Except they’re not bright enough for that, but they fail gracefully as perfect chase lights.

 

Damn, that’s a lot of money! When I thought to buy one, they were half that, and @nishibot and I spent half a minute kicking around a group but to get it discounted. Crazy.
