My 2007 has a great armrest except for that passenger side corenr that has decided to draw up. It really shouldnt bother me but it does. Has anyone installed the ebay skin and if so how was the quality and cover match? I dont suppose Toyota still sells the covers do they?

Let me know if you know.

If you're talking about the "leather" replacement upholstery, I've bought two. One came folded up and I installed it, steamed it, but the crease would never go away. I ordered a second and it wasn't creased but I haven't yet had the time to install it. I can't tell you whether it matches your interior because I changed the color of mine.

Yeah it's a real pain. Once you remove the lid and the existing vinyl you have to glue the new vinyl to the lid which isn't a very elegant process. I installed a seat heater under mine so at least my arm rest is warm now.

I have a small split in the vinyl on my console lid as well. How does the lid on the console come off? I like the idea of adding extra padding as OEM is pretty hard.

Yes. Paid like $20. Looks great and has held up fine but was a pain to install. I'm in mobile now but there is a post in my history with some details.

    ^^^^^^what chrisf111 wrote.
I bought a $20 ebay cover with the stitching.
I wanted some padding under it.
It was so big, I was able to cover the lid with the blue sleeping pad foam, and get the cover on...it was a PITB!
I was going to have it done by a shop, but the couple around here wanted nothing to do with it.
I made it work. Not the as good as I would have liked it to look, but it looks better than the stoke cover with holes and cracks in it.
