I have a 2017 platinum tundra. I bought a set of aftermarket headlights with the led drl like my oem light. However i have one plug left coming from the truck light harness and no place to plug into the headlight. All lights work with the exception of the led drl. So i assume the extra plug was for the oem led drl. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Post a pic of the headlights and the plug. You may need a harness from @iHacker

That is the "Main" headlight plug. Hopefully @iHacker chimes in soon but it looks like you will need a harness from him. He is a well known member on here so no worries at all to purchase from him. He will most likely need to know which brand and configuration headlights you have as he can wire different options.

Seems like this aftermarket headlights aren’t meant for a truck with the OEM LED DRL, tracing the wiring I noticed they integrated the LED strip to the turn signals.

Do you have a clear picture showing where is the truck turn signal input plugged to the headlights?

Thanks for the help. Ill have to take the light back out sunday and post some more pics for you. We did disconnect the little white plug left of the unused one and insert it in one side of the unused plug. That got the led lights on but also turned on my mirror blinker arrow if that helps.any

Ok, but from what I saw just tracing the wires they eliminated the LED DRL in favor of using the LED strip as blinker.

Maybe this was a specific headlight for truck with just the Amber DRL and they offer a separate models for trucks alike yours

My suggestion is to ask the seller/manufacturer if you got the correct model for your truck

If you decide for LED bulbs I recommend you the Phillips X-Treme Ultinon

    Philips X-tremeUltinon gen2 LED X-treme Ultinon Car Headlight Bulbs H4 (Twin) https://a.co/d/hsmZa4F

Or some people back up the Hikari

Hikari VisionPlus H4/9003 LED Bulbs,15000LM,Dual Beam,30W TOP XHP50.2 LED Equivalent to 100W Ordinary LED,HB2 High Lumens LED Kit, 6000K Cool White,IP68 Waterproof,6000K Halogen Upgrade Replacement https://a.co/d/c7gg5FQ

Or if you want a better light output and if money isn’t a problem I recommend you 100% the OEM LED headlights

Check this link or with the part numbers you can check several OEM part sellers online or even try to price math with your local dealership

    https://www.sparksparts.com/tundra-parts

If for some reason you end buying from SparksParts use the code TUNDRADUDE34 for 5% off

Also you gonna need a PNP harness to make this headlights work in your truck, I know there’s a thread somewhere in this forum to get more details about it.
