Ceramic coat...self or professional?

he got called out for charging companies to do reviews. I question his objective was given companies are paying him for reviews.

 

Wow! Learn something new every day. Where did you read this? A reliable source?

 

I remember that stuff. But most big YouTube people get paid and disclose if it's a paid video or not. Maybe I missed where he was doing it under the table and other YouTubers weren't getting money for using/flashing/endorsing a product.
Aside from product usage, his videos are informative regardless of product used (a very WIDE variety of products)

 

It’s been a while back so I would have to do some digging. There was another YouTuber who brought it to light with the company Pan was trying to get 10k from…yes that is $10,000.

Not knocking the guy for making a living but would recommend spending time at Autogeek forums and getting info from professional detailers.

 

Maybe. I would rather go and watch a pro detailer (like Mike G) versus someone trying to make a living off of product reviews. Plenty of good ones at Autogeek.

 

Haven't got my truck yet, but just ordered the Nano coat ceramic from the review that 2020Platinum posted. Ordered direct from the Duracoating site and used promo code to save 20%. Will let you know how it goes.
