I’m assuming that they are indeed good wheels, but how do they compare to the better aftermarket wheels?

what are 2-3 wheel brands that are worth looking at?

95% of aftermarket is pot metal.

I’d prefer factor wheels with some Bora or Spidertrax spacers over any aftermarket wheel.

I bought Anthem wheels for my 2014 in 2016 I think.
Took me 2 years to find an aftermarket wheel that wasn't ugly and had HUGE fake bolts on them.

Anthem front - stock TSS rears.
I think the Anthems were 24+ offset vs 55+ with stock.

    Stallbohm%20anthem%201_zpszgxdzdfv_6fa860090ed29b5dd136392e404ff7b6c8ccec41.jpg Stallbohm%20anthem%202_zps1jnthbgf_d32b4e1b4c829f493796c2b7dcafc5d0df6f748c.jpg

Couldn't get my stock 285/55/20 KO tires to balance on the Anthems after 7, yes 7, rebalances.
4 of those rebalances were road balances.
The 3 tire shops I went to, could not get rid of the steering wheel shimmy with the Anthem wheels.

Put the stock TSS wheels back on and they balanced perfectly.
Fortunately, with all my documentation, Anthem gave me a full refund, including return shipping.

I like the stock TSS wheels, I just don't like the +55 offset.
I'm uncertain about spacers, I'm too paranoid to try them, although I would like a wider offset..

All my Toyotas have 1.25” Spidertrax spacers. They are the last thing I worry about.

Don’t use scamazon fleabay chinesium spacers.

I know a lot of guys here run them with no issues.
I always told myself I'd try them when my truck was paid for, but that was over 2 years ago.
A wider offset would sure fit my fender flares better...

    Does it drive the same?
Does the steering feel any different with the spacers?

Theoretically it should ride better. The wider offset counteracts lack of castor and improves stability and self centering.

These are the vehicles that I have run 1.25” Spidertrax spacers on.

    2016 Tacoma
    2016 4Runner
    2007 Sequoia
    2006 Tundra
    1988 4Runner

I was going to run them on my 1999 Tacoma but I ended up getting Method Wheels.

FN Wheels are underhyped IMO - they are flow formed which makes them strong and saves weight. I guess in comparison they are much better than cast wheels but not as strong as forged wheels, such as the BBS forged TRD Pro wheels.
