TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I have paperwork and the break down from the $52,230.00 msrp price. I don’t see how they can change the numbers with a signed contract and a grand down.

I sure hope they don't do that to you, but let me tell you, Toyota does some shady crap. As a first hand example, I was promised an extended warranty by a case manager due to the amount of issues I am having with my truck. Toyota is unable to repair some of the issues because they don't have a solution yet. The case manager closed my case and said, "no extended warranty because your truck was never fully repaired". With that said, I won't be surprised with anything Toyota pulls on its customers.

700 dollar increase is probably to help cover the cost of a full tank of gas with each new vehicle

They should stick to the original deal, my dealership did not charge me the price increase. They stuck to the original MSRP. Why should you lose the toyoguard? I put down deposit in May and truck arrived on June 6.

Did they really do that? I’d call back and get assigned another case manager. I didn’t have quite as many issues as you and still have some unresolved… I just received my extended warranty paperwork in the mail a few weeks ago.

There is no official contract that has been signed even with deposit Only out the door quote that states “For information only. Not an offer or contract for sale.” The deposit was just so they can’t sell the truck to anyone else.

I would imagine it depends on the dealer and how they handle it. As far as Toyoguard, I wasn’t enthused by that option anyway since all SouthEast Toyotas get that tacked on by default and is mostly overpriced for what you get with it and it was my choice to drop it. Didn’t have to.

Just a quick update, I forget my build date, but my rail depart date was May 26. I picked up my truck yesterday and the increased MSRP was not mentioned and I paid the original agreed upon price.

The online msrp for my TRD Pro increased $700 between the time of order and delivery. I never mentioned it to the dealer and he never mentioned it to me. Our deal was based on the lower original msrp.

I put down a 2k non refundable deposit on mine early May. Sales guy told me if the truck is not like the spec sheet given, then I could refuse truck and have my money. IMO, price should stay at the previous amount or they default on our agreement. On a side note, I do have a 2k mark up on my truck. Worst case is they try to hit me up with the increase, I don't agree with that and I walk with my deposit and find a dealer that is not marking up. Still save $1300 LoL.

Wait, you put down 2k and now have 1,300 left? What about paying for food and mortgage?! You literally dropped your last money on the deposit?

LoL, no. I put 2k down. If I decide not to get the truck because they try to raise the MSRP. I'll have my 2k back. Then I'll find a dealer that is not marking up, and just be paying the $700 increased MU. This leaving me with $1300. As I was typing that out, I feel there was sarcasm in your post. Anyway.

No noo, no sarcasm, I was actually quite concerned and a little puzzled why someone would pay for deposit if that's literally their cushion money.

Ok. Nah, I'm good. If I was in that situation I wouldn't be buying a new truck. I feel I'm on the lower end of success compared to allot of people here. But I'm happy where I'm at. Self employed Cabinet Shop. 20+ yrs exp. Going on 5th year in business. What's crazy is this new truck cost more than I paid for my house 17yrs ago. And it's just an SR5 with 8+k in options.

I had a deposit on a tundra, but canceled it. Between rising interest rates and costs of fuel I have decided to stay in my 4R for awhile. Loans fixed at 2.9 thru my bank. I average about half a tank a week so fuel is not to bad at the moment.

My dealer did not quote me a market adjusted price tho, I was told for repeat buyers there is no charge, but for others yes they charge a markup.
