I know. I actually toyed with the thought of selling the truck to pay for the roof but then I wouldn't have any way to race away when the creditors come calling. :burnrubber:

you are better off with a slab of concrete or pavers, too close to the ground for composite.

This is nothing major but another small win for me.
Since none of you knuckleheads would buy my tool boxes I'm making use of them. Couple of brackets from Lowes and I got the crossover box up in the air on the back side of my shed.
    koCvRMG23wpPi96Z0oYHCYZ5dHqSROPPWBVZaFSm_21e38e6c534ee5d819bcc8afc0e0a1d085f94144.jpg

The below the rail chest from Zdog is going to be a bit more challenging to mount, I don't want it on the ground, may drill through the back wall into the siding (hitting studs of course). I may put more support under the crossover if I get a lot of weight in it.

Thanks - I think that's the plan. I probably have enough 100 year old bricks around the house that I could replace it with but then I'd have to rebuild all of my gardens. I'll keep my eye out on Craigslist and start collecting materials. I may even do little sections like a Victorian garden, but the deck is definitely gonna go.

The primary job of the First Consular Officer is keeping the beer supply adequate. Secondary is getting asylum seekers, @Outbound, asylum. Tertiary is making sure there is enough beer for the Canucks. You are appointed assistant First Consular Officer. Molson procurement specialist, eh?

Cool! I shall assemble the greatest collection of beers ever. We will have many, many beers. There ill be ale, porter, stout, lager, pilsner, and even though I don't like them, IPAs. And yes, this will include a healthy supply of Miller Lite for every day (ie, day drinking) beer.

I'm not as knowledgeable on candy as I am on beer, pretty much know that I like Snickers, Canada has special Unattainable candy, and that you like all forms of Kit-Kats.

I should probably start a poll on what candy to stock.

Ok. Some of it isn’t pretty but I finished the framing for the basement bathroom. Now I gotta get the plumber to come back and rough everything in and hookup the sump pump. Then I’ll get electrical going. Man I’m slow at this stuff but it’ll all be covered my drywall anyways right?
Made a linen closet in the bathroom as well as a niche above the back of the toilet. I will still need to build a wall between the sink/vanity and alcove tub but I haven’t gotten there yet.
Also need to relocate the freezer lol

Check the build link in my signature.
Last weekend and a couple evenings this week, got 300ft of fencing done along the north property line. Had to drop a dozen small trees (~6-8” dia) and brush hog the line, install wood posts and brace frames, roll out and stretch the fencing, and get the t-posts all in.

I never really dialed in my charge when I installed this unit a year or two ago, in high stage my subcooling was high(overcharged) I think because they paired a 4 ton outdoor(high efficiency 2stage) with a 3.5 ton indoor. Next weekend I might just drop the charge and start over and short charge by a pound or two and then work my way up to proper sun cooling. @TomC843 what say you?

Yeah I'm am old school R22 guy, screw 410. I still don't like any SEER over 12, lol. I am not gonna have to many tricks for you, so important to match equipment on super high efficiency. I'm lucky to have two package units on my house so I can always "dump and dial" the charge. PS- have you seen a Manitowoc 410 unit?

Yeah I never did enough high temp to get really good at it, only while I was going to school.
I had seen a few self contained 410 units, basically the budget model right? Two stupid floats for the water level? But that was like 5 years ago
