Well sorta related to this, looks like I’m inching towards it. I am a Street Parking member. They just added a “Dirty Work” summer program. Looks like I’m going to have fun with my sled, strongman sandbags, and a new toy…bought a ruck pack and weights. Not much running yet, but once I get in better shape longer distances will be added. Maybe I’ll make it to a ocr one day. Hope yours goes good!

Sweet!! That sounds like a good time too. I got so burnt out running in high school and college for soccer that I can’t run anymore unless there is a purpose. This has pushed me to get back into somewhat of running shape. The wife is pushing me to keep going and run a half marathon with her next spring. I’d much rather do a Spartan than do that!

I hear that! Except I was fat as…well you know what in HS. When I was in NC I went running with my boss to “talk shop” and we ran 8 miles. That next week we offered a 3mile, 8 mile, and 13.1 for PT. I ran that 13.1 with no real training. Just because I wasn’t going to let my juniors run further then me…faster maybe lol.

First two ruck tests are a 1 mile for time w 45#, second is 5 mile with 20#. I would rather walk a mile(weighted) then try an run one. I’m sure that will change. My daughter plays club soccer. I’m just trying to stay in a reasonable shape.

Need to find a race sponsored by a bar. Every completed obstacle and you get a shot. Now that I’m in for haha.

Hell yeah, have fun. It means a lot you guys dig the chocolate and make a trip to see them. Do some wine tasting too!

I’ll PM you my name, but be sure to tell David (my cuz) and Kevin (Chocolate wizard) you are from the Tundra forum. They don’t know what to do with that level of truck geek and it is fun to watch them squirm.

There are a few pay-to-park lots around them, including a lot right next to their building. That’s the easiest place to park.

That’s great. I wish I had known about it sooner. The rates look very reasonable too.

Yeah, and they prorate in 15min increments. I booked for 3 hours and only needed 1.5, plus they give a new customer discount since they brief you on the equipment. Cost me $60 today!

Thanks for looking out but no worries- I have the RCI skid.
I still need to crawl under the truck to make sure they put my Fumoto cap and valve clip back on though.

Replace? As in don’t reuse the same bolts? Is this normal or a “lesson learned”? Please educate me b/c I need to pull my front TRB skid plate soon to change the diff fluid…

Think their prices were higher a few years ago, but I won’t complain at $47/hr for access to a full garage and a “guru” if I fubar something.

The issue isn’t replacement but actually it’s “placement”
It’s a frequent occurrence based on forum experience that dealerships may not put all the connectors back.
I like to put little obscure marks on the filter housing (to confirm that it’s been moved) and on the tires (to confirm that they were actually rotated)

Okay, thx. One of my bolts is a bit stripped so the “replace” got me thinking. Makes no sense in the grand scheme of things but you never know

Look up Gearhead Garage in Tigard. I used them when I did my trans cooler. Much easier on a lift!
