Has anyone found a 3rd party bed-step for the 2022 Tundra

Toyota has no solution for a manual Bed-Step for the 2022 Tundra. The 2021 bed-step absolutely will not work as designed. (Unless someone found another way to modify). I have asked SPARKS Toyota for an update about every 2 weeks. The answer this morning was - we are hoping Toyota will provide something within the "next few months"

Has anyone found a 3rd party making bed steps that work for the 2022?

I've gotten a couple of the OEM parts in for other members here. They're on back order, but the ETA is only a week or two out right now.

Is this a powered step? $350 seems quite high for it not to be

My 1794 has a powered swing out step on the driver's side... slides out when the tailgate is opened.

 

If you have the power boards the power step is included. I have a 1794 and it does not have the power boards or power step

 

Amp Research emailed that it is on their list to make the bed step but did not have an ETA. I am using a small / short aluminum ladder for now. I think the AR bed step should be a bit less than OEM,, maybe $250 ish?? I am still recovering from paying for the TRD running boards, very nice, but very pricey.

 

I agree. Feeling gouged here. 3rd parties will make a killing when they come up with an aftermarket for this.

bragging is bad form. Sadly, powered running boards and bed step are not available on any model in Canada.

 

Hoping someone makes something soon!

 

I bought a bed step off Amazon that was advertised for the 22’ but didnt have the correct mounting bracket so I ordered the 22’ mounting bracket from Toyota. Works fine. Total cost ~$275, so cheaper than buying the step from Toyota and I can probably get some money back from Amazon since the bracket didnt fit.

Why one step when you can have two. And it folds away under the seats or in the bed if you have a tonneau cover.
My truck came with a bumper step but once you use this .....
