I am so pissed. So my first mistake was not protecting my CC from being stolen. But I didn’t and they were cut out. So my insurance adjuster came out and saw the truck and made payment to shop I took truck to. Minus deductible I left shop and immediately noticed all the check engine lights are still on which is limiting my trucks performance. My first question is did my truck get inferior performance CC because they went with a California emissions part for replacement? Second, how can I reset my check engine lights to normal default setting? Or should I take to dealership? I am leaning on all of you for help & consideration!

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
There’s been some reports of non OEM cats being inconsistent regarding compatibility. You probably should have insisted on OEM (too late now), and definitely should not have left the shop until every issue was resolved. Hopefully the shop will treat you well.
You could just post pone getting cat protection and let them get stolen again.

I specifically told insurance guy that I wanted OEM. I didn’t sign any papers but I did leave shop. I immediately sent a message to the insurance adjuster about my concerns and dissatisfaction. Put I will insist on pushing this issue with my insurance. After all I did choose the shop based on a friends recommendation

I got mine stolen on Feb 3 this year. Just got it back today. They put aftermarket Magnaflow cats after I couldn't wait any longer for OEM. The dealer said they've had for no issues with check engine lights with these. I will see. It could have been a couple more months on the OEM cats. Check their website for california compliant cats.

Co-worker got aftermarkets plus FlowMaster $1200 cause Toyota said it would be 4-5 month wait, the next day they got stolen again while grocery shopping.
But I will ask him if he knows which aftermarkets they installed.
