No latch or locks that I'm aware of on any trim.

Do you mean the “A/C On” light is no longer on? AC is always on if you use “Auto”, even if the light isn’t on, unless you specifically go into the multimedia display settings and turn off AC with HVAC Auto mode.

I never have it on auto I don’t know why. Maybe I’ll try that instead. I usually like the fan to be as low as possible so I don’t hear it

I believe so . My 21 f150 was the same. But I think prior gen required the match to open

i was expecting at least some minor changes an maybe some little option upgrades for the 2023 model . Those being: optional rear work bumper with built in step access, optional rear seat USB port additions for the sr5 trim, exterior puddle lights added to the mirrors, possibly brighter interior lighting, an possibly a power contractors/work option of increased generator power availability in the truck bed etc ……. Still it is one of the best trucks you can buy ! Love the new Tundra

    A bunch
Think they're still working on the bugs - of which too much chrome was an issue for many which is why the SX package came in. Maybe in '24 they'll add something functional, but I'm thinking it'll be until a refresh in 27 or 28 at least for most of the suggestions you had

    Good evening all,
I have a 2022 coming and I wanted to purchase a set of side steps but the part number says double cab. They are the black Toyota tube side steps part# PT925-34222. Do you know if these are also for the crew max?

    Thanks

If im not mistaken, the part number you listed is actually for CREWMAX, even though it says "D-cab", and the part for the double cab actually says "C-cab", but the D and C dont actually reference Double and Crew, but just their internal name for the cab type...

It caused major confusion early on when parts started popping up...

Anyone know if it would be possible to have the dealer install the convenience package after already owning? I’m planning to go in next month for my first oil change and figured I’d ask them about it.

I can live without blind spot mirroring but I wish I knew my truck had the option to get a bigger gas tank size. Wondering if they can do an install for this after the fact.

Yup, I second this. Even if you did ALL of the labor yourself AND sold off the parts you removed from the almost new truck I'd be willing to bet it would cost a lot.

Even if the dealer was willing to do it, and adding the labor back in to the cost of the parts, it would be cheaper to sell that one and buy another.

Saw a solar octane TRD pro today driving around north Houston. Looked really good but I didn’t like how the truck didn’t have the tundra lettering on the tailgate blacked out. It was just color matched with the rest of the body. Can’t imagine what the guy paid to drive that thing around lol

    Probably way too much.

I actually prefer the body color bed and tailgate stamps. Prefer fewer MAKE, MODEL, and TRIM plastered all over the truck in general.

The offset, smaller TUNDRA on the later 2nd gens looks much better to me. The new one looks like it’s trying to be a Power Wagon, especially when it has the black inserts.

I prefer the smaller off set “Tundra” too. I also loved the bed side “TRD Pro” way better. So unique and so clean, even with inlays.

Toyota is really pushing Solar Octane for Pros. I called a bunch of dealers about allocations and SO is 3 or 4 to 1 to other colors. Black, white and LR are kinda rare for all these allocations.
