I mentioned it here before, but Kirkland Honda installs $5k of dealer options mandatory. Chit like stain protection and anti-theft crap. I could call the crooks, but everyone pays the price here without calling them out.

Used to love calling the Vegas dealers out on stupid shit like that. They were like sun protection and unicorn tears for fluids

Check the build link in my signature.
One dealer I talked to said that TMC doesn’t allow those markups outright, so the dealers add dealer modifications like that to skirt it. They can’t bone you outright on MSRP (according to this sashes guy), but they can charge you $1000/tire for upgraded tires, or $5000 for a ceramic coat.

Small mods today. Finally mounted my element fire extinguisher and added the desert does it seat jackers. The seat is way more comfortable.

Toyota of Kirkland is really bad with the dealer markup crap. That or they give you a horribly low trade-in value. I had years of anger towards them when I was negotiating my Corolla from them. When they talked about the mark-ups, I told them point blank they are BS and to take them out. The salesman couldn’t figure out of I was serious about removing the stain protection spray.

Still the best deal I’ve ever gotten on any vehicle. I hope someone got fired…

[Automaker] of Kirkland - all are the same - happened when I tried trading in my camry for an edge - should have kept the camry - got the right deal, but I did the same and called their low ball offer and BS on the "4 square". Unfortunately I get too much satisfaction letting the line go just enough before I yank the hook through their slimy gills and leave them gasping for air. Private sales and/or cash is the only way to go if possible.

Took the fat lady out the other day to Deception Pass - can't wait for the weather to turn to save some gas monies. Looking forward to the long ride later this month

ok random thought of tires. How do we feel about the big red label insignia on the tires?

Box #1 of blower items arrives Wednesday. Box #2 with the headunit will be meeting me in Vegas as I didn't want it to arrive while im out of town getting the LT install done next week. Now debating on adding the larger throttle body and port matching the throttle body area on the blower list never ends lol

If you like it, then rock it! It just isn’t for me or my AG truck. It might look great on your gray truck since that color is more neutral.

I’m fascinated by that tech, but it will have to wait until the kids are gone. We need them to unplug more and having service in the hills will just lead to problems

I'm kind of on the same boat - personally I like the traditional white print if anything. As well dunno if it would go with the dark bronze - lock and load with caffeine #2 - maybe it will look different then :pccoffee::D

Also - I'll re-echo what's been said - you REALLY need to start your build thread if you haven't. That truck is gonna be a beast truly once your done...if you're ever done...:thumbsup:

Do they actually have those colors on the tires when you buy them? I have never seen KO2's in anything other than black or white letter.

Good dannnng. I take like a week off and @reywcms is scooping up all the toys! That thing going to look sweet!!

@Green Thunder looks like our hotel for the tournament is about a 30 minute drive to Flight. Will try and swing thru and grab some goodies that weekend.

Well took Crystal the Outback to PDX Wraps today for some tint. Man they did a sweet job. May pull off that factory wrap on the hood and add to it and the roof. Trying to figure that out now. DM’d BD about any fog light plans for that thing. I may just send Nameless an email to see if they have anything planned for it. 1st vehicle of the last 4 with no DD exhaust. :(.

Well time for another drink and check on the pork butt. Hope you guys are having a great week!
