Has any one figured out how to trace your rail car on BNSF rail? I kept calling csx but the last known position was 3 weeks prior to my ship date. I noticed that my rail information states San Antonio to Princeton Burlington northern santa fe/ ttgx854254. so I am guessing the reason csx is not correct is because it is not on that rail line.

@cdq85 Can you please help me out? My truck was built March 28th. Got on the train on March 31st and arrived in Seattle. It stayed there until May 31st on QC hold for an unspecified reason. It arrived in Portland on May 31st where it has been sitting since. First they said it would be here in a week. Then they said it s on recall for the Mardi Gras PVM issue. Then they called back an hour later and said "some, looks like it's on QC hold again."

Is it actually in Portland. How can I figure out what's going on? I feel like I have the oldest truck on the forum and still haven't gotten it. Thanks for all of your help! Here is my vin of you would be so kind to investigate. I just need some reassurance that I'm not an idiot for waiting so long.

Ouch, yours hit the dreaded inspection. We usually have 1 every month so it's almost impossible to tell but I wouldn't guess you get your truck until mid to end of July. Yours is on a 63 day delay starting 4/4.

Much appreciated. Is there a typical duration between Processing Completed and rail depart?

Again, thanks for all the assistance.

Unfortunately, I've not found a pattern. Some trucks are on the train within a day and some sit for 15 days.

@cdq85 Thank you for checking! But why does this happen? 63 days? Did they find something wrong with the truck or do they just hate me? Lol
Have you ever see it say 63 days but it comes out in a shorter time? Or is that a minimum? I'm assuming from 4/4 not 4/26?

No they just pull random vehicles and do quality control inspections. They are usually 30 days for smaller cars and I've been seeing 60 days for Tundras (assuming that they are checking these way harder). As for the time, not really..they usually keep it the full time.

@cdq85 That's for being real! Sick of all of the "maybe next week" and shit like that. Now I can chill for a.month and stop checking every half hour. Last question, did this start on 4/4 or 4/26?

It's from the 4/26 date I believe. That's why I'm guessing it'll get there mid-end July. Hope it goes faster though!

My status flipped to G today! I assume that means it's on its way to a dealership. Are you able to check again to see if there is an ETA for mine? Really appreciate the help and all the help you've given everyone else, wish I could buy you a beer!

Thank you!! I’m in the Dayton, OH area. Hopefully I can get it here within a week or so, so I can get rid of this damn f150 that Ford has replaced 3 oil pans on under warranty and it still leaks!

Thanks for the info @Brums. I am familiar with the country of origin for the GR86s. I was able to get an update from the dealership today that it's in a status of rail departed on as of 5/19, but didn't get any information about the train it was on. With your response though, I am wondering if that status is even accurate lol. Hoping someone can get me a screenshot of with the rail info, if it's even available.
